Fever Knights: Official Fake Strategy Guide Paperback – May 3, 2022

I love Adam Ellis' art and humor- but I never thought he'd provide me with a type of book I've always wanted. I am not a gamer- but I love the stories and like hearing them. With this book I get the best of both worlds- Adam's great eye for characters and humor and a game formate that feels like something i would love to play but not actually put in the time to do it. The story is rich and fun, the characters are charming and interesting with each having a really great individual design associated with the area it's in- and the heroes are worth rooting for. I really hope we get a sequel!

So much fun to read I wanted it to be q real game I could play. I learned about Fever Knights from reading Bad Dreams in the Night and found it pretty dang good.

I have always loved playing video games and looking at the guide books for help with items, characters, back story etc. When I saw this guide for a fake game, I knew I had to check it out especially since I already loved Adam Ellis comics on Instagram. I am blown away by the attention to detail with bios on characters and stats, sections showing items like healing gummies, and the different map areas. There is a real story that unfolds throughout the guide and I couldn’t put it down! Not only that, Adam’s humor is infused throughout and you will find yourself laughing out loud at the funny enemy names, stats, and locations. This really is a must buy especially for the price! I would easily have paid double for such a funny amazing book for the best fake game ever!

Always been a huge Adam Ellis fan! His comics are hilarious and his artwork has only gotten more detailed and sharp the past couple years. This book is the perfect gift for anyone who loves modern fantasy worlds and video game lore and world building. You will not be disappointed with this one, can’t wait to see what other ideas for books he comes up with!

Excellent book for any body that is looking to enjoy beautiful graphics and a touch of nostalgia. Adam never disappoints when it comes to his craft. This book has been such a nice breathe of air that is was worth the wait. I am sad I read it in a day and now will have to hopefully wait for the next book.If you enjoy graphic novels you will love this even if it’s not following the graphic novel format. Do yourself a favor and get this book and welcome to this amazing but crazy world.

Really does feel like the strategy guides for games i read that I never played myself (my cousin played a lot of games and had the guides for a decent amount of them. I always loved reading through them and catching glimpses of where he was when I sat and watched him play) If I could give this more stars I would. I really wish this was a real game because I would play it over and over again. Truly wishing for a sequel. 10/10

To start off I loved this book I always used to by the strategy guides for games as a kid just because of the art and to get into the story. That being said I do have a nitpick and that is that some of the concepts in the book feels like they were changed at the last minute. That being said i enjoyed the book and I still would buy this game and it's sequels if and when they come out.

I bought this for my husband for Father’s Day and read it before I gave it to him. It was the perfect gift because I’m a reader who doesn’t want to game, and he’s a gamer who doesn’t want to read. He chose to read this to “set a good example for our kids” and because he doesn’t have time in his schedule for a tactical RPG right now. He kept picking it up whenever he could because he loved the story development and the attention to detail. We hope there will be another to share in the future!

The art and layout are gorgeous. And it is easily the most interesting strategy guide I've ever read. I wish the game was real, and on the Switch. I really latched onto Knox, definitely would have been in my party.

Great plot writing, behind every single item there was a bit of the story.

Great art, sucks you in to a fictional and magical world. Loved that the story was told in the form of a strategy guide, imaginative and fun!

Enjoyed it from first page to the last!
