Great book
For those who have been through deep hurts and wounds... he doesn't downplay the depth of pain you have experienced. It's like your own personal counselor sitting there in the comforts of your own home.To the one reading this book.. I am sorry you went through a horrendous trial. Remember you are not alone. God sees you. God loves you. God has been and will always be right there with you.... holding you through the pain.

Barry Stagner is a great teacher/preacher
I watch and follow Barry Stagner on YOUTUBE.com ... He teaches directly from God's word and explains exactly where we are in these days according to GOD"S WORD!I bought this book to learn how to help others who are battling deep emotional wounds and found out alot about my own wounds! I bought and sent 2 more of the Dancing with the Scars for the 2 people that I just couldn't find my own words to help encourage them ... THEY LOVE this book! Believe me, if you buy one for yourself, you will want to keep it for yourself!

Excellent Book
This book by Barry Stagner is one I highly recommend. It is an excellent tool in the hands of a griever. Barry is a pastor who truly "gets" the pain of things like divorce and depression. He understands the challenges a person goes through while dealing with grief and loss. He shares an understanding that is uplifting, compassionate and encouraging. Dancing With The Scars gives great spiritual and practical advice on how to cope when faced with pain and adversity. Barry gives his readers hope that their wounds can be dealt with in such a way that they can find healing and a way to move forward from their pain. The author reminds us that though no one goes through life without being wounded or experiencing pain, it is possible to not only survive, but to thrive and to learn to dance with our scars. No matter the source of pain, anyone who has a hurting heart will glean much hope, comfort, encouragement and truth from this book.Debbie Kay,Founder of Hope For The Broken Hearted Ministries

Highly recommend to those who suffering and those who walk alongside the suffering and wounded.
Excellent book! I couldn’t put it down, however I had to. The words were so personal and relevant to different areas of my life, I needed to stop, ponder and pray as he personally explained the pain, the impact and the rest that can come when you lay your sorrow and pain at the cross and let God begin to heal. I would highly recommend this book to those who are hurting and those who help others walk through the path of suffering and pain.

Scars build us up dance
I love this theme as it weaves through tough times that come out later as stepping stones that help us dance.

Jesus called and Jesus led man that has been through the turmoils of life.
I always love to listen to Barry on youtube, podcasts, etc and he spoke to my heart again through this book. Extremely intelligent man and a heart that follows Jesus to help the hurting, distraught through the mines that Satan puts before us through our walk in this life. LOVED IT!! Helped me put one foot in front of the other after losing my son and other mines of life.

Bad
This is so badly written I could not read it. Disjointed is my best way to describe it.Perhaps if people believed God and not the world they would be a lot better off."Space" is impossible nonsense and evolution is monkey business. We are on a flat stationary earth and we are created by God. The KJV Bible is literal and true. Believe God and not the world that rejects God. For truth see Rob Skiba, Edward Hendrie, Ron Rhodes, Ron Wyatt, who discovered that the red sea crossing is at Nuweiba beach and mount Sinai is at Jebel Al-Lawz in Saudi Arabia. See Roger Gallop and Walt Brown regarding evolutionn nonsense.
