These beans roast up a very good coffee with lots of flavor.
Good coffee. I roast these dark after the second crack but not quite all the way to the bitter stage. I like dark roasted coffee with flavor and no fillers. When I first started roasting coffee, I got Colombian beans because that is what the TV said were good beans when I was growing up. Those beans were very weak in flavor in my opinion. Turns out Juan Valdez lied to me all those years. These Ethiopian beans roast up better than any other coffee I have ever had. There may be better beans out there, however, I keep ordering these because I have not found a better bean and do not want to waste my time or money trying another bean without getting a first hand taste first.

I can't recommend these beans
There is either something wrong with these beans or they are not actually Ethiopian. Has a rubber smell that is barley noticeable with the green beans but is accentuated when roasted. I did medium roast and full city with two batches -- same results. I can't recommend these beans.

My favorite.
I tried many coffees, I got stuck with this one.

This is nasty coffee.
Nasty coffee, tiny beans with very little moisture. By the time they are roasted the beans don't gain much in size like other green beans I have roasted. Go for the Costa Rica Terrazu, it is way better coffee.
