I’ve had a few of these. My two cats really love them and they’ve saved my new sofas and carpets. However this one split in two after 10 days use. I’ve never had that happen before. Sending it back was going to be a load of faff because I’d bought a two pack so I’ve just accepted hit. To give a fair review, all other scratching boards (approx 5 now) have been well used and held up until they were ready to be recycled. My cats love them and the little bonus pouch of cat nip is a great addition.

I have to confess these are a lot lighter than I expected but then they are essentially carboard. Cat didn't want to know until I sprinkled just a little of the supplied catnip on them and then she was off. There are 3 and I have one placed roughly where she used to scratch. Landing, Lounge and Dining Room. They are discreate but seem to be doing their job. Value for money - a little on the high side but then so is everything these days :(

Update: I have bought an additional set of three. Much prefer the sizing and the cat loves them.I think it is fair to say I will continually be coming back to this product. The style I have bought I wouldn’t say is sturdy per say, but my kitten loves jumping on it and being able to move it, so it really works for her personality. I got the small version of mine as well, for a kitten it is a good size, but in the future will definitely get the large as I’m not sure it will be big enough when she grows. From a cost perspective I think it is good value for money. There might be better ones but my kitten really took to this, and I will be buying more and placing in spots she naturally decides to scratch to save my furniture.

It came with catnip, which was great. My smallest cat enjoys sitting on one end and scratching the other and she hasn't destroyed it yet so it's already more durable than any of our scratching posts. Good size and quality cardboard as we've accidentally stood on it a few times and come off worse than the board did!

It looks fine but my cats won't use it. I've used another brand for years, which they use all the time. Will have to go back to my previous brand which is flat, so that could be the problem I guess.

My cat loves this!She used to claw the carpet to fix her nails even with a scratching post but with this she has not clawed the carpet! She spends so much time on it and the thing is still in one piece. Of course you have to clean every so often so bits that they tear off but it is not that messy as it is quite sturdy.
