We have a Cal King, and our last comforter barely went over the edges of the bed, so we fought over covers. Last night, I unboxed this and am in heaven! It more than covers all 4 edges, and us when we're in bed, it's not too heavy, and the color is gorgeous. On top of that, my husband said it wasn't too warm for him, and it was perfect for me, who is always cold at night. I am so glad I bought this comforter!

Wife and I were looking for a new comforter for the bed in our spare bedroom and we looked to Amazon on there comforter's, for which there are so many choices to look at, but we narrowed it down to our need's and found "SouthShore Fine Linens" from there Vilano Springs premium collection We read the reviews, made our choice of color's and ordered....In 2 days it arrived and we couldn't have made a better choice...it came in a nice "purple carrying case" that could be used for storing the old comforter in...and the new comforter came in a "vacuumed sealed bag"...and upon opening the sealed bag there was "no after smell" from the chemical's that comes from the color of the comforter or manufacturing process...we immediately put it on the queen size bed and was a perfect fit...this is an "oversize" queen which it say's 92"X92"...regular queen size is 86"X 86" to 90"...so this SouthShore comforter is really "oversize"....it fit's the whole bed, very well... this comforter is well made with microfabric, double brushed fabric....and it's "velvety soft" to the touch, even laying on it, I wanted to take a nap on it, and I know will keep you very warm too...this also come's with a one year warranty, has phone number to call for questions/answers and a e-mail address...

I wanted to like this comforter. I have the sheets and the comforter matches nicely. (Just FYI, the matching bedskirt looks nothing like its photo...it's made of the thin sheet fabric and looks limp and cheap after its initial de-wrinkling in the dryer for 10 minutes!This Full/Queen comforter is so oversized, it just doesn't work for a Full mattress. Sure, the length works, but the width has the corners of the comforter dragging on the floor (standard height bed). Or if you arrange it so one long side of the bed has the appropriate amount of overhang in place, the comforter on the other long side of the bed is touching the floor. (BTW, I tried out one of vendor's twin comforter - which is sized for the Twin XL, but easy to fold back the extra length at the head of the bed... but when placed on the bed, the long side overhang is barely 3-4 inches)The vendor made a business decision to combine the Full/Double with the Queen AND to make the comforter oversized -- which looks nice on a queen bed, but doesn't work on a Full/Double. The vendor needs to make a commitment to sell a FULL/Double size comforter.DO NOT BUY if you have a Full size mattress and you want the comforter to look nice and fit appropriately.

I had reviewed this item as posted pictures of it ripping after 1 wash. Amazingly that review and pictures are now gone. I purchased this item in August. One month later it was thrown away because it tore on both sides of the comforter near the seam. Wasted money.

Let me start out by saying that when I first opened up the package I LOVED this comforter. I noticed that it was fraying on one of the corners, but did not think anything of it after reading reviews that noticed the same. However, when I went to transfer the comforter from the washer to the dryer, I noticed that the product was torn in the same corner that I noticed fraying. I'm disappointed; the color of this comforter is beautiful, but there is no reason for the comforter to rip in the wash. I will be requesting a refund for this comforter and will update my rating for this product depending on my customer service experience.UPDATE: Ended up calling Amazon customer service, instead of waiting for the seller to reply, to see if they would process the refund. Thankfully, Amazon did. Raised product review by 1 star because of the speedy and great customer service experience.

This is my first time ever writing a review on household merchandise but I felt so compiled to do it. This is such an amazing, awesome, fabulous comforter for such a cheap price. I wanted something not fluffy and hot because it's summertime. I have spent from $100 to $300 easily on California comforters and I love this cheap one much better than my expensive ones. I urge everybody to purchase this little gem, it's soft, comfortable, cool without air on and also warm with AC on.

Wow, can I just say this is much more of a comforter than I expected it to be. I bought this to put on the spare bed for when my husband works graveyard. I did not want to spend a lot of money on something that is going to be used not all the time. But wow. First off it is so soft and bigger than I thought it would be. The one thing I gave a less of a star is for the lightweight of it. Its heavy, but I like that, reminds me of a weighted blanket. This helps me sleep alot. Husband said it was just okay in this area. The color is exactly the color they stated. I am going back to buy more for our regular bed.

I needed a comforter PDQ, having thrown my ratty old down comforter in the dumpster. They were out of stock of the color I wanted and I settled for some other color. Served me fine through the summer and when the weather turned I ordered another one in a better color and have been using them stacked together through the winter.Most of the bad reviews seem to be based on problems after washing. For $40, I'm not planning to wash these. I use sheets with comforters, anyway, so they stay fairly clean. If they get dirty or odorous I'll toss them out. But they're actually very nice, especially for the price. After about 8 months and 5 months of use, they're both still in perfect condition.

I was looking for something warm and larger than your average king sized comforter. This was the only one thatI found in three months of searching that was exactly as pictured in chocolate brown. It's soft and warmer than my previous comforter, even though its thinner. Perfect for winter (Canada) and all year :D

It has a nice weight, good feel and is warm.
