Summary: I spend long hours in the saddle of a bike and used to get sun burned anywhere I was exposed. This fixed that problem.PROS:* No more wiping sunscreen in your eye, causing blindness and crashing your bike because you can't see from the searing pain.* Are you sweaty? Re-applying sunscreen over a sweaty arm/leg/neck with other brands simply did not work. It would smear everywhere and make a mess. This is the THE ONLY BRAND that I can apply directly over my sweaty limbs and it sticks and goes on smooth.* Dries FAST getting you back on the road.* Doesn't sweat off.* Doesn't easily rub off.* Smells... kinda good? Barely noticeable smell really. Smells like vodka with a lemon twist.* Alcohol base feels cool on a hot day* Washes off easily with soap.CONS:* your wife will think you've been drinking if you kiss her goodbye moments after application, due to the alcohol evaporating from your skin. This only lasts a few minutes though.* Expensive compared to other brands, but worth it in my opinion* Goes quickly, you'll need a few bottles to get you through a normal summer in New England.* Hard to source find. Took a few weeks to show up from amazon and couldn't find it sold ANYWHERE.Note: Some reviews say it "balls up" if you rub it, like rubber cement. I have not experienced this, but I could see how sand might mix with it and form little balls. It does feel like there's a super-thin rubber coating on on your skin, but it's not noticeable to me. I don't use it on the beach.With soap, it washed off without any problem (unlike some zinc brands that require a power-washer to remove)

I am a pasty man. After just 10-15 minutes of sun exposure, I can expect to have a severe sunburn that will last for days. Additionally, my genetic history leads me to suspect I am susceptible to skin cancers. Therefore, I consider sunscreen to be my most important fashion accessory. And when it comes to sunscreen, it’s Bullfrog or bust!I love the smell of Bullfrog. I love the way it coats my skin and the way it prevents me from getting a sunburn - as long as I remember to reapply! I don’t expose my delicate skin to the sun without a Bullfrog nearby.

I swim at noon on a masters swimming team, and need a really good sunscreen that stays on in the water. I read some good reviews online about BullFrog. Those reviews, apparently, were Bull**t. There is something weird about this sunscreen - its a gel, and when you try to rub it in, it starts forming little rubbery balls on your skin almost immediately, that you can just brush away. I have now worn this sunscreen for 5 workouts, and each time I get lightly burned. I had no problem when I was using Coppertone sport or Neutrogena sport. Throwing both bottles away.

This is our favorite for first layer sun protection. We put this on under another sunscreen. This is light and not sticky and has a pleasant smell. This lasts throughout a day of intense surfing as a base coat. The downside is that after application you must wait for it to dry or it will “ball up” similar to rubber cement. Another downside is that it is difficult to find but I’m thankful for the 4 pack....we purchased 2!!

Overall this product works much better than the typical white lotion sold by other manufacturers. Be sure to order the gel and not the lotion. Easy to apply and lasts a little longer than most others, although you will need to reapply periodically.

This is the ONLY brand that my family has used for years! It is so wonderful to keep your skin protected in the sun! Very water proof but we do reapply if we're in the sun all day and in and out of the pool or ocean.
