Mounting Dream Full Motion TV Mount for 42-75 inch TVs, TV Wall Mount Bracket with Dual Articulating Arms, Fits 12” / 16” Wood Studs with VESA 600x400mm up to 100lbs

This was my second Mounting Dream mount and I was able to install it by myself (decently fit lady), perfectly centered, in way under an hour (I wasn't timing it, but I easily got it in one morning before work).QUALITY: The quality of the Mounting Dream mounts is apparent as soon as you receive the package. They are heavy! When you get it out of the box, it is all packaged efficiently and safely.INSTALL: I could easily install this by myself for my 50" TV. Mounting Dream has thought this through very well! They send a self adhesive template with a level on it. I was able to identify my studs with a combination of - looking at my electrical boxes which are attached to studs (and checking which side of the box), marking this stud with pencil, measuring to the next studs. Then I drilled straight through the template into my studs. The adhesive on the template is the perfect strength to stick to your wall only for the amount of time you need and leave no marks. It was a bit heavy for me to put the bolts into the wall holding the mount, but I was able to do it. The rest is a breeze.SAFETY: I prefer this mount to my other Mounting Dream mount because it actually has a bar clasp that secures the TV onto the mount. The other one I used was a set screw which left me really nervous.EXTRAS: These come with two levels (one mini bubble only and one ~6"), three or four velcro cable ties to cord control in the back, and even a HDMI cord. They also have tons of metric screws for the variety of VESA holes in TVs - which I saved and have already saved me BIG TIME on another project.LOOK: This is an articulating mount, so your TV will not sit flush against the wall. However it is clearly a quality mount and looks great.USE: This mount is easy to use. I have two slightly different models of the same mount - they can be difficult to get fully extended (sometimes I have to get behind the TV and push the two arms together) and even more difficult to push back in once fully extended. However, I do not really need to extend it 100% of the way, and if you only pull it about 80-90% of the way out, it is easy to pull in and out.

We moved our old plasma TV to the second floor in our game room. It’s a 58 inch Samsung and we’ve very much enjoyed it for the past 9 years. The plasma TV’s are considerably heavier than the LED’s but the Mounting Dream MD2296-24 says it can handle up to 100 lbs which is more than enough (58 inch plasma = 85 lbs). Everything about the mount was superb. The box it came in; the instructions; the ease of installation. The design allows the ability to place the mount on the wall and install brackets on the TV, then place the TV with the brackets on the mount. The kit even comes with a template and a level. I didn’t use the template, but the level came in handy. This particular model also allows for different widths of wall studs. All the hardware is included. The big test is when I had to rewire a couple of devices a few months after installing the TV, and the mount worked flawlessly. We don’t move the TV very often on the swivel, but even with a TV this large and heavy it feels stable when moving or swiveling it. For the price I would definitely recommend this product.

Affixed a 65" Sony TV to this sturdy mount, which is exceptionally well-made and designed. It includes a stiff paper template that makes positioning the holes a breeze. Comes with lots of mounting bolts that make it easy to selects the bolts that best serve your needs. Also includes large lag bolts that easily support the whole assembly/TV when driven into studs. There is also flexibility in where the TV mounts along the horizontal support bars, which make centering the TV relative to the wall a breeze, regardless of where the underlying wall studs dictate the mounting plate goes. In other words, don't hesitate to buy this mount if the TV you're hanging weighs under 100 lbs. I've purchased a lot of mounts over the years, but none has impressed me as much as this one.

Box arrived two days ahead of tracking schedule. That was good. But I hadn't taken the time to go get a stud finder so it had to wait till the next day to install it. Next day armed with a Zircon L350 stud finder and a fresh battery I began the installation. The hardest part for me was deciding how high I wanted it and making measurements. Having marked where I wanted the bottom of the tv to be I marked the bottom stud centers for the bracket. I didn't bother with being precise about centering the VESA hole pattern with where I wanted the bottom to end up. I knew it was going to be very close so I didn't sweat that. Ended up maybe a half inch lower. I did measure up from bottom of tv to lower VESA holes so that probably was how I ended up that close. Stud finder did great finding wall studs.The mounting screws for the tv brackets were already in my tv so it was just a matter of getting the washers from this kit and installing the brackets. There is a wide array of hardware included. Everything went together very well. Very well made. Installation was easier than I expected actually. I have recommended this bracket for one of my daughters to hang a tv they just bought.

This is actually a very good mount and it does a very good job. A customer of mine needed it for a replacement from an old plasma to a larger LCD. Works fine, installs fine, the one bad thing..... NO CONCRETE ANCHORS! Ouch, and guess what I needed to mount it too? LOL. Thankfully I was able to cannibalize anchors of equal strength off another mount that were unused. If you need to mount to concrete or brick you'll need extra parts. FYI.

I had a little trepidation when I ordered this mount, given several of the negative reviews it had received; however, I installed it yesterday, by myself, and it is operating exactly as I'd hoped it would.I installed a 65" Vizio P65 (weighing approximately 65 pounds) to replace an older 50" Pioneer Plasma TV. Interesting note is that the 50" Plasma weighed significantly more than the new 65" TV. The old TV was on a fixed, tilt-only mount and I wanted something that would give me more flexibility and allow me to easily access the connections on the back of the TV, so I decided to upgrade my mount to the 'Mounting Dream MD2296-24 TV Wall Mount Bracket with Full Motion Articulating Arms'.It took me a total of about 4 hours to uninstall the old TV and mount and to install the new mount and TV (I only had help to lift the old and new TVs). However, this 4 hours included patching, sanding and painting over the spot where the old mount had covered the wall (we had repainted sometime after the old mount was installed, plus the new wall mount plate is smaller than the old one was). I also spent a good deal of time measuring and doing calculations to ensure that the new TV would be placed exactly where I wanted it to be on the wall (centered, horizontally and vertically, over a fireplace).Because the wall on which this mount was installed is composed of drywall over brick (no wooden studs) and rather than calling and waiting to receive free concrete plugs from `Mounting Dream', I chose to fasten the mount with my own 2 1/2" TapCons, as I had done with the old mount. Note that, out of an abundance of caution, I chose to use the 'beefier' 1/4" shanked (weight rating of 245 pounds) TapCons and I secured them with 8, rather than 4 fasteners.I am confident that if I was installing this mount in a more 'standard' situation (ie. on a clean wall with 16" O.C. studs with no need for an absolutely precise vertical and lateral placement), that I could have completed the installation process in about an hour.All the foregoing said, I am very happy with this mount and is holding our 65" TV, level and securely in place. There is no 'drooping' or 'tilting' of the screen (so far).I would recommend this mount for those having a TV weighing approximately 65 pounds.

Used it to hang my 65" Sony Bravia, about 50lb (23 kg). After mounting it on a drywall wall (with internal studs), I tried to hang on it by myself (100 kg) with the fully extended mount, no signs of bending or pulling out of the wall. Even though the main motivation for me to use an extendable mount was to be able to reach the back side of the TV when connecting cables, i.e quite rarely, the mount provides a lot of degrees of freedom. Mounting was easy and intuitive, though required 2 people when putting on the TV. The provided level is not very accurate, so rotate it by 180 degrees and use 2 measurements to double-check the horizontal position before starting drilling holes.Be aware that the kit has different parts for different designs of TVs and different materials of walls. So there will inevitably remain unused parts but that is fine. As well some reading in the manual will not be applied to your particular TV and your type of wall, which is a little confusing

I recently bought the mounting dream full motion mount for my 46 inch Sony TV.The installation was very straightforward and the paper template that came with the mount was insanely helpful for lining up the holes. To install the mount at the center of my wall on a stud I needed to drill 2 holes in the middle of the wall mount. I feel middle holes should be there from the start.The mount feels insanely sturdy on the wall and works great. I am very happy with the build quality and effort that was put in to make installation so simple. I definitely recommend this mount as it is well worth the price.

The vertical adjustment does not work. I had to bolt it out. I would give it 3.5 stars. BUT, it is still better then the competitors

This may be my BEST PURCHASE EVER on Amazon. I have a 55” Samsung. I wanted to mount it but was terrified of ruining the wall and/or breaking the TV. However, after looking at some units in store and reading reviews on here I decided to go for it. And before I go too far, let me say this unit was at least $100 less than what I saw at Best Buy or Costco. Anyway, it arrived in a day. Excellent quality. Easy to follow instructions. It even comes with a Stud Finder and Level! I went VERY slow and I still had it mounted in 30 minutes. Fantastic unit! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
