Bottelsen Great White Fixed Point Steel Tip 90% Tunsgten Edge Grip Dart

I’m pretty new to darts and after buying a set of Red Dragons that I just couldn’t seem to grip well I saw these and liked how straightforward they seemed. These things are solid, I feel so much more confident throwing these and my accuracy has improved a ton since buying them a couple weeks ago. Love the texture of the grip too, highly recommended and especially for the price that the 21g’s were at.

These Bottelsen Great White darts have a wonderful grip to them. They fly great and have very slim barrels. One thing to note, the black steel finish does scratch and wear as you use them. But regardless, a great set of American made darts for a solid price!

I have been playing darts for over 5 years, primarily soft tip darts. About 3 years ago, I was still having trouble finding a barrels that worked for me. After much trial and error, I decided to give the Bottelsen Gorilla Grips a try and I LOVE THEM! Because of this, I am always recommending bottelsen barrels to new players.Fast forward to now. I have started to step my foot into the steel tip community. I know Bottelsen makes a lot of soft tip darts that also have their corresponding steel tip darts. Unfortunately for me, the gorilla grip steel tip version are hammer heads, not fixed points. So, my quest to find a similar steel tip barrel began. I stumbled upon these. They are 21 grams, close to my 18 gram soft tips. The barrel is slightly longer than I'm used too, but nothing to worry about. The biggest thing for me is the grip. I have always had trouble gripping my darts, this dart has a magnificent grip.The bottom line: This is a quality steel tip dart at first use. I am going to leave my review at four stars until I have put some time in with this dart. The biggest thing is if the grip can hold up to repeated use. I will update this review in a few months. If you need a quality steel tip dart with excellent grip, lighter weight, and some decent length? This is the the dart for you!

Great darts. I’m no pro, but these darts are well-balanced and go where I throw them. Now if I could only get them to go where I aim them...

I love the weight, grip and feel of these darts. I have used a few other brands but continue to return to Great White. I am also an average league player, that cares more about socializing and have fun then my position on the league leader board.

Great dart out of the case. I’ve had them about a year now and they definitely don’t stand the test of time. Not to grippy but after a year the grip is totally worn off and are slippery now. I’d recommend getting 2 sets. One for practice and one for game time

Very nice darts that helped my game.

Tried them out at local store, $72 though. Found them here for almost half of that. Just starting again after 35+ years and these are throwing well for me. However, each dart had a small ‘burr’ on each tip. Someone else (different dart, maybe) said that when they removed them from the board, it was pulling ‘stuff’ with it. I wouldn’t have bothered, but I remembered that, so I filed the burrs off and all is well now. Check yours, JIC. Very solid dart, IMO, especially for the price! Not to mention the nifty carrying/storage case that comes with.They always go where I throw them! Maybe not where I want, but where I throw them … 🤪
