So, after twenty miles or so, thesetires seem to ride smoothly and handle quite well.They were easy to install, I personally didn’t need the included tire levers, and the beads set well after a second try, my fault. As is common with balloon type tires they had a slight bump in them at first but it was ridden in in a miles or two and now they’re perfectly round.I think the branding (very boldly printed) looks appropriate on my Electra rat rod, which used to have wide white walls.My only, albeit slight, dislike is that they aren’t able to be pushed above 45psi,(I’d prefer 60psi) which for most people isn’t a big deal because I am a very big guy weighing 300lbs so the added pressure protects from pinch flats but someone under say 210 lbs would find the maximum recommendation of 40psi to be just fine.I actually ride this bike for exercise and work out recovery so I ride it between 20/30 miles a week which might be higher than most beach cruisers get used.I would recommend these tires.

When purchasing these tires think about your intended riding. If your doing some serious mountain biking off road these tires may not be for you. But if you need a general purpose tire these are my go to tires. I mainly ride paved trails and occasional light gravel/dirt trails and these tires work great for that. I will also add that I just bought a second set of these tires a few months ago and the quality/material have improved greatly from the first set of eastern tires I bought about two years ago. I actually emailed eastern directly to thank them for making such a quality tire at this price and the employee shared they have been working diligently to improve there product line and it shows as these tires are far better then the set I bought a couple years back. The printing on the sidewall was much better, the rubber seemed to be of better quality and the best part, the tire was rated at max psi of 65 psi where my original set was only rated at 45psi as I like to run higher tire pressure. This is just my own personal experience I’m sharing as I think these tires are a bargain if your on a budget. I would purchase again
