Tactile delight.
I ordered four of these for a birthday gift for my wife. The glazing choices make them an absolute pleasure to drink from. Especially an iced drink on a hot day mixes with the texture of the cup and has become one of my tactile associations with a finely mixed drink at my house. When I'm making a nice drink I reach for these over the simple glass pint glasses. Being dishwasher safe also means that there are usually one or two clean.The silicone sleeve and and lid are very useful if you are filling them with hot coffee or using them as a to go cup. I initially thought that I wouldn't use them because I thought it would just be silicone pretending to be cardboard. But they keep the drink warm and keep my fingers cool and are spill proof enough to not mess up my car. Apparently silicone can imitate cardboard just fine.

My favorite coffee cup!
My husband and I both have these cups (in blue and in black). He uses his everyday at work while mine is my commuter mug which I use every day for my morning coffee. Sometimes it plays double duty as a cider cup while I'm out for a dog walk. It's both practical and beautiful and I love that it's great for both hot and cold beverages. And did I mention how it feels in your hand... the texture of the porcelain is amazing both to hold and to drink from. I'm pretty picky about this (can't stand metal coffee cups!) and this cup is a winner. We've had our cups for about two years and it's in and out of the dishwasher and microwave daily and holds up great. I'm lucky enough to be able to purchase directly from SKaye Ceramics in Seattle and love everything I've purchased from dinnerware to shot glasses!

I love this mug
I love this mug! Every time I take this mug to work I get compliments on it. Plus it's so much easier to clean then other mugs where the lids can get all gross in the crevices. This you just pop in the dish washer! I ended up getting another one for my mom for mothers day.
