Solid product, fits very well. I was able to bend the original hangar loop out of the way easily enough without having to cut it off. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because of the panhead torx bolts used for the rear. They both stripped out before being able to tighten them all the way. I went to hardware store and got stainless steel hex bolts (M8 1.25) and lock washers and those worked much better. Don't understand why they would have different bolts for the front vs the rear. Other than that, I love the look and it should be much better protection on the trails than the useless OE skidplate on the TW.

The only complaint I have is the lack of true instructions, and the fact that the installation was less than easy. I youtubed an installation vid from someone else and he made it look easy, but it took me a couple of hours and then some sweat and tears to get the front mount (engine bolt) in there. They also didn't mention the fact that you need a torque wrench to make sure and get that bolt back to the right tightness. It shouldn't matter in the long run, but you also need to bend your existing rear skid plate hook with a hammer to get it to fit. Final word is that the skid plate is great once installed. Saw some reviews saying it caused reverb from the engine and made the bike louder. I have not really noticed that myself.

Easy to install covers way more of the motor then the stock skid plate . And the price was fair.

Far superior coverage and protection than the OEM plate. Easy to install. Allows you to use a moto jack, dirt bike stand, bucket, or even a milk crate to get the wheels of the ground and maintenance tasks. Even has a cutout for the oil drain.

The richochet skid plate fit my 2018 Yamaha TW200 perfectly. The plate is made of thick aluminum, designed and welded very well. Installation was quick and simple but can be tricky if you dont have the right tools or are mechanically challenged. You will need torx bits/sockets, metric sockets, socket extension (wobble type would be very helpful), something to cut off the old skid plate retainer bar(by the back, on the frame), and a ratcheting wrench. These skid plates come in different powder coated finishes for extra $ but weren't available through this seller when I bought mine, and would probably make scratches and dents more noticable as well.
