Awesome tank, built like a TANK.
I've been using this tank to develop my own b&w negatives from fujicolor film with some DIY caffenol developer. It works perfectly and does exactly what I need it to. It's extremely sturdy. You only need a few more tools, like a light bag, to get your home photo development rolling!

Reels don’t work with 120 film.
I bought this because it looked like a cheaper version of a Paterson developing tank. However, I ruined lwo rolls of 120 film because of the reels. They are so sloppy when opened up to the 120 size, evening coming completely apart when trying to lead 120 film. I have now bought a Paterson and a Jobo system. They both have reels that work with 120 film.

It does its job
I mean, its okay i guess. I would say get maybe a patterson tank if you want something nicer but this does its job. I've had some problems of chemicals leaking during agitation but im pretty sure its my fault due to the fact im new at this. Ive used it maybe 2 or 3 times now and it does its job, doesnt have any light leakage and the spools are easy to get film onto.

Photography student and in love with these!
This tank and reels is amazing! I am a photography student, and while in the darkroom I was using the reels that my university supplies. They are terrible. They are come about 40 years ago, and have the small feeds tongues that you can't get the film in. I got fed up of spending 40mins trying to load my reels, I bought these, and a film retriever and never had troubles again. Now I can load my film in over half the time. These reels are amazing and so incredibly easy to use! I would suggest getting the retriever too. Makes life so much easier!

Good tank
Tank is durable, well sealed against light, and easy enough to take apart and put together in the dark.

Good.... for now
I have had one of these tanks that I have used for the past few years, they work well, however the self ratcheting reel is a pain because it gets caught on the the bearings especially with 36 exposure or longer film because the film is curling, funnels don't always lock into place, have to be super glued frequently to make sure it is light safe for putting in the chemicals. Coming from an experienced film photographer, I would suggest investing in a high quality stainless steel developing tank with the stainless steel NON RATCHETING reels if you are going to be using it alot. They are most of the time cheaper, more durable, and last much longer.

Decent. Probably will buy something else for my next one
I developed a couple rolls of film it it and it has the little thing you are supposed to spin to agitate but it didn't seem to work to agitate with the spinny thing. I would recommend tipping it back and forth to agitate instead of even trying to agitate the other way
