HanesWomen's Raglan Sleeve Tee, Women's Stretch Cotton Tee, Women's Crewneck Tee

I had a Hanes shirt I had purchased about 10 years ago and absolutely loved (still going strong!), but it’s finally starting to fade from black to that obviously faded color. It suddenly dawned on me that I should see if that style was still made - we’re talking Hanes here so not a company influenced heavily by the trends - or at least something similar. I found this which looked like it was made of the same comfy, durable, fabric and similar fit with roughly the same neckline and 3/4 length sleeves - all boxes checked plus a killer price! Based on the TruFit model info, I should have ordered the Large (I’m roughly a 12) but I always order up a size because of upper arm issues and I’m not fond of things clinging to my body - I love the comfort of a bit of spandex, but not how it looks when outlining my muffin top! I saw a few reviews saying it ran a bit small and looked at the photos and decided to order up 2 sizes, knowing this fabric and cut (assuming they were as I expected) would be very forgiving on sizing.My XXL came and it was perfect. Same fabric, same sort of fit as my old shirt. If I had the body of my youth and was fine with a more form-fitting top, the L would be a great fit. With my arm issues, the XL would absolutely have fit me and I’d have been happy with it. But the XXL was very comfy and just floats over my body in the middle without being overly loose in the shoulders or hips, the two places it actually contacts the body. It just hangs more in a straight line without accenting the dreaded bulge. With my extra 10+ pandemic pounds, this was exactly what was needed!The fabric is soft and substantial - not at all thin or see-through - and has enough stretch to be comfortable and allow a good fit in several sizes, depending on how tight or loose a top you prefer, flaws you wish to disguise, etc. It’s well-constructed and basic enough to be worn on its own (no jacket) with scarves or jewelry to dress it up a bit, plainer for more casual, and can be layered under sweaters, etc without lots of lumps or discomfort. Length is about mid to lower hip depending on your height and how you chose to size the top. Had I bought the size intended by TruFit, it would definitely have been mid-hip. Two sizes up and it was lower but still not bum-covering enough for leggings IMO.I was happy enough with it that I ordered 3 more.

I purchased a 2X. I am 5’6, weigh 180 lbs and my bra size is 38D. The 2X is a PERFECT FIT. In the past I have always liked Hanes Tshirts and I still do. The material is not too thick or thin. The length is great; it reaches about midway my butt and looks good with my leggings. Because I am getting older my arms have a little jiggle so the quarter length sleeves make me feel more comfortable. It comes in a variety of colors and I love the color I purchased but because it fits and feels so nice then I plan to buy several more. It smelled fine and was wearable as soon as I opened the package. I didn’t notice much, if any shrinkage after being washed.

This is high quality fabric, flattering design and cut, and runs small. As it is fitted - there is no extra room. I am a size small - and this was too tight for me through the shoulders and bust.

The fabric is of decent thickness (not too thin that it feels flimsy or looks too sheer such that you feel like everything underneath can be seen; nor is it super thick, either). It’s also soft. The length of the sleeves is also just right. This pink color also doesn’t run like the black and purple versions of this shirt.That being said, I found the cut to be rather uncomfortable. This shirt is better for someone with a smaller chest (B cup or smaller) and skinny arms (which I don’t have). I would have also preferred a longer length for the torso.I’m 5’1/2” and about 118lbs. For shirts, I usually go with medium size because I like a slightly looser fit. For this shirt, I would have been better off ordering a large. Though snug, it wasn’t too tight around my midriff, but I had to keep trying to stretch the sleeves width-wise in order for the sleeves to stop feeling like mild tunicates on my arms. Around the chest was uncomfortably snug, almost tight for me. I was expecting better from Haines.Update 4/22/22:I’ve worn this black top maybe 3-4 times since purchasing it and it now has a hole in the armpit. Really? Haynes can do better.

It fit beautifully! The pink is perfect not to light not too dark and not see-through! I live in the south so I do not like having to wear a cami underneath. Did not have to with this blouse.

These are my go-to casual, everyday tops. I love them. They are more stylish and not quite as casual as a more traditional t-shirt, so much more versatile. I own the white, black, navy , and pink. I wish they'd make it in more colors.I do buy one size up, not because it's cut small, but because I prefer tops which have a little drape. They also have the raglan sleeves which I also love. I don't have very square shoulders, so the raglan sleeves don't emphasize their slight roundness... another plus! Great price-point, too, and they wash well! It's a win!

First of all the reason I gave it 4 stars is due to the fit not being as in the listing pictures (loose fit) if you order your typical size so misleading. This is mentioned in many reviews but I decided to order in my size and go from there. I have decided to keep it though because it works for bottoms (shorts, pants, skirts) where a more form fitting top looks better, especially if pairing with a jacket for less bulk underneath. I tried on several outfits to make sure it will work with at least five of the bottoms I have struggled to pair with a top that looks right and this one works for me. I think I would have to go up at least two sizes (maybe more) to get the look in the pictures but sticking to your normal size (or maybe up one size if you have more "muffin top" to hide) works for a more fitted look. The weight and flexibility of the fabric is perfect for this.

Hey, i really like this "HANES" top. I ordered one in the light pink. It's a tad darker but still nice. I'm 185lbs & just over 5'6 & ordered a 2x. fits well & very comfortable ~ not see through. I wash everything by hand in cold water & hang to dry so there's no shrinkage. (i use febreeze spray to iron out any wrinkles when i wear an item) You never really know if it's the old Hanes brand that we're used to buying in a store... On Amaz. it always seems like you never get what you see & the fabric sux now... (hard to find cotton anymore) the sizing is always what we read buying a "hanes" product & always arrives quick & on time. Good luck
