VibramMen’s Trek Ascent Insulated Multisport Outdoor Shoes

Hahaha Had to get 3 pairs to decide on the right size for me!;) so obviously it feels a bit different than other vibrams that i have. At first i thought I ordered a size too small, but when I got a size up like recommended they were way too big. I normally wear 8.5-9 and that is the size that fits me best. After a couple hours of wear they feel perfect! Everyone is different but mind that the larger the shoe the wider too, so for large skinny feet they might not fit as well.These are an awesome pair of shoes! Comfortable, keep my feet warm and feel great!

Perfect fit. Very comfortable. I am a size 8 UK but always have to by size 9 as I have wide feet. I bought a size 43 in these as the five finger chart recommended for 26 cm long feet, and they fit great. I little snug getting them on the first couple of days but now just fine. I've only had them a week but very happy so far.

Not made in size 9 so 9 and a half left enough room for toe socks which you will need in winter. The shoe is too warm for summer. The beige ones look great and I always get comments in public about how good they look. This is the only fivefingers which elicit comment. These are the hardest fivefingers to put on. The toe pods are very rigid laterally so it takes some foot gymnastics to get that little toe in. There is a hinge at base of toe pods which give flexibilty when walking. The extra 4mm sole depth over most fivefingers is what I wanted and it does reduce sharp stone pain. I have kept them dry so don't really know if they are any good on muddy trails but they are very comfortable when you have them on. They do look great when you wear them and make your feet look normal size rather than the shrunken fivefinger look. Too bulky for running, the Trek Ascent has the same sole if you want thicker soled runners.

Perfect, now my feet are happy AND warm. I had to go up a size - strange, when I'd expect Vibram to have accounted for the bulk of the insulation on the inside and alter the size classification accordingly. But one size up fits perfectly. Very comfy and warm and much more puddle-proof than any other Vibrams.

Was happy with them when they first arrived. They were very comfortable. Until the stitching around the tongue started to break. I messaged them and they repaired the shoe. I was happy until a month after the repair they have broke again. They are not very reliable and are not the sturdiest pair of shoes. When I messaged them again I received rude messages from them and do not recommend these to anyone. They are not worth the money.

This is my third pair of Vibram five fingers so I'm used to the feel and fit, these however did feel too tight and I did wonder if I needed a bigger size, however after my second day of wearing they are feeling much more comfortable nowUpdate : Day 3, and they feel fine no longer tight and as comfortable as they should be, worries over *****

Simply fantastic to walk in Vibrams. Although you look like an idiot when wearing them, the feeling is quite undescribable. Either you like it or not. But for naature lovers like myself this is the ideal item for wet and cold weather. They are really, really warm. Get some toe socks as well! I wear size 45 and bought 47 - fits perfectly!

These had clearly been worn by someone - albeit around the house or had been cleaned very well. The labels were stuck to the inside of the opened box and the Vibram cloth label which is usually stitched on was loose in the box.About the shoes themselves - my feet are exactly between sizes in other vibrams with 26cm feet, 41 is slightly too tight and 42 is too loose. (You can heat the toes and stretch them slightly with a hairdryer if you are in the same situation) These I ordered a 42 allowing for the insulation - they are a great fit, very warm and feel a bit like slippers. Build and quality is great as always. Putting them on was substantially easier than other Vibrams as the laces can be loosened to get your foot further in , so quick to put on in fact they are almost like normal shoes.They feel great and look strange (nothing different there to other VFF's ) - probably too warm for summer months unless you like toasty feet. Would have scored 5 stars but the fact that I didn't get a brand new unopened box and pair has knocked 2 stars off.

I completed the 4 day Machu Picchu trail in these and am glad I chose these.Before I got these shoes, I did a few practice hikes in VA in regular hiking boots that I bought per usual recommendations - One size larger, hard toe cap, ankle support, gripping sole etc. Every time the hike went longer than 5 hours, I ended with sore feet or blue toes.I switched to these because:1. They are much lighter than any other "regular" hiking shoes2. Their 5 finger design and going one size larger means your toes will not reach the tip ever.3. They have ankle support4. They are fleece lined which meant I could use thinner lighter socks instead of the crew socks recommended for other shoes. My socks were adding enough layers.5. I have used 5 finger shoes before and my feet love the natural freedom they gave me.6. I do have a higher arch on my left foot but the flexibility of the shoe took care of the anomaly.I am a slow hiker and these did not bother me even after 10 hours of hiking. Of course when I stopped and met other hikers on the trail, they were a great icebreaker and many were impressed.A lot of things can go wrong during a 4 day hike and I am glad that these shoes were there to take care of the most fundamental need - protect feet while making it easier to hike.Pros:LightweightFleece linedEnough space for my extra ankle supports.Grippy sole.Talking point for others on the trail.Washer friendly.Cons:Not waterproofNewbies need to get used to these shoes and may take a couple of weeks of short walks.

The media could not be loaded.  Tenía mis dudas de si tendría que cambiar la talla o no. Pero como un guante me quedan. Mi pie mide 26,7 cm aprox y me cogí la talla 43, ya que para mujer solo tienen hasta la 42...Cómodos, calentitos sin ser muy gruesos. Notas las cosas sin que te hagan daño. Puedo mover los dedos bastante bien.Eso sí, en la caja especifica que no son impermeables aunque si resistentes al agua durante un rato.Los recomiendo sin duda alguna (los uso con calcetines de dedos) probaré a usarlos sin ellos y con el tiempo a ver si sigo pensando lo mismo.

los compre para un viaje con muchas caminatas por pueblos y ciudades y solo puedo decir que supero mis expectativas, mis compañeros de viaje se acabaron sus tenis de la suela y los míos llegaron casi intactos, y puede caminar sin problemas y comodo todo el día, me lleve 2 pares de fivefinges unos de correr y estos de senderismo pero sin duda los mas cómodos fueron estos de senderismos

Just got these yesterday and have tested them out twice. Once while walking the dog in the evening (-11) and once this morning for a quick run (-14/-21 with wind chill). So far these are great! They fit well (went one size up from my summer Vibram), they are warm and the traction is very good! My toes got a bit cold on the run this morning, but that's to be expected when they are in their own little compartments and can't share heat. The socks I wore may contribute to the cold toes as well. Once your feet start to sweat, they will get cold quicker. I will test them out with some more runs and dog walks, and edit my post if anything changes. Definitely recommend these to anyone who wants to keep up running in the colder weather.
