While the plates are heavier that I expected, they are sturdy, colorful and excellent in every way. Rimmed plates are hard to find, and these are perfect for a family member who has difficulty managing food on most plates due to illness. It’s great that we all can use the same stylish plates. We’ve been using our dishes (also bowls and small plates) for about a month. We’re a big family and almost always eat at home, so they’ve already been used a good amount. I’m so happy with them. They feel sturdy without being too heavy, and can handle being bumped in the sink, etc… I wouldn’t try dropping one purposely like some do you test Corelle, but I’m clumsy and am always bumping dishes and they have no chips. No scratches from utensils either! I think these are going to last very well.We have had to change our dishwasher strategies due to the high edges on the plates, but that’s not a big deal and I expected it. The high edges are great from my young kiddos, so it was worth it. Now that we’ve tested out a minimal set, we’ll be adding some more plates for sure.

A little smaller then expected

The media could not be loaded.  These plates are the perfect portion size for appetizers, small meals, desserts, and salads. They have a great feel to them, they are solid but not heavy, so they do not in any way have a cheap feel to them. I love the small lip around the edges so that nothing will drip or run out of your plate. They are very easy to clean and I love that they are microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe. Throughout the pandemic I've been cooking a lot more at home and enjoy taking pictures of my food. These plates are the perfect size as too large of a plate would drown out the food. These are excellent quality and I will be looking to expand my Sweese collection in the future. I added the picture with a snack size bag of chips on top to give reference to the size of the plate.

The dessert plates are good quality and sleek however, first instead of dessert plates I recieved bigger size dinner plates. I reordered the dessert plates and today I received the package again where instead of six dessert plates there are only five. Have spoken with amazon customer support and he understood the issue but he gave me two choices - either again ask for return/ replace or prorate the amount for a missing dessert plate. I had no choice but to take the latter option as I needed them tonite. Because of back and fro, I have given 2 star, otherwise most of time amazon service is way much better. Hope these are isolated incidents but they definitely give you sour mood.

A couple of years ago, I ordered a set of Sweese bowls in turquoise, but received a broken one. The customer service at Sweese said to take a picture and send it to them, which I did. Expecting one replacement bowl, I received another set of four bowls! OK...I've been ordering Sweese since...small "custard cups", and these lipped plates. The plates are rimmed in a darker color, but the main color is turquoise. They are microwavable and dishwasher safe. Great color/great customer service.

color is more peach, pastel than a true orange

I had a similar set of plates that broke. I love these because the color is exactly as the others, the plates have a high border which can hold anything with gravy. Dishwasher and microwave friendly
