Liftmaster/Chamberlain/Sentex 41as050-1 Receiver Logic Board Assembly

When I returned from a long road trip in August 2022, I discovered that my old Chamberlain garage door opener had completely failed during the Summer heat here in Arizona. I had installed my opener myself back in 2006, and I discovered that to buy a new one, I would have to replace the whole drive system, since it uses a rotating rod rather than a belt or chain. Chamberlain no longer makes openers using this system, since they claim it is too costly to make anymore. So, I called Chamberlain for advice, and they told me that the "back end" of my opener, which contains all the electronics, had probably failed. They told me that the rest of unit, including the drive motor, rarely fails. They said that they still make the "back end," but there was a back log of several months to buy one from them. I checked Amazon, found exactly the one I needed at a good price, and it was delivered within days! I am a retired electrical/electronic engineer, so installing the replacement myself was fairly easy and straightforward. The enclosed instructions were clear, and the setup was easy. After almost a year now, my garage door opener still works fine! This product saved me many hundreds of dollars versus buying a new opener, including a new drive and rails. Plus, I would have to pay for installation, since that job would now be beyond me, as I have aged considerably since 2006. Great product and great price on Amazon!

Estimate given to me was $1000 by local repair place. I watched a youtube video, bought this and did it myself, saving $900 in the process. Super easy repair that anyone can do-just be sure to take a picture of wire connections or draw yourself a diagram before removing old part.

I was having an issue with my LiftMaster garage door opener (Model 3220, purchased in 2006) where the opener would not engage from remote openers (handheld opener, a fob opener, and programmed car openers) while the light for the opener was still on. (Note: Every time the opener is activated, the light comes on and stays on for several minutes.) On the LiftMaster (Chamberlain) website, I found support information that stated the problem could be due to a faulty Logic Board in the opener, so I ordered this product/part (Liftmaster/Chamberlain/Sentex 41as050-1 Receiver Logic Board Assembly).The part arrived within a few days, along with installation and remote device programming instructions (the same programming instructions as found in the LiftMaster Owner's Guide). Following the instructions step-by-step, I was able to replace the old part with the new one in less than 30 minutes. As indicated in the website support information, the presence of this new logic board solved the problem I was having.I needed to also perform some adjustments to the Up and Down Forces. Immediately after installation, the garage door would only open to ~70%, so increasing the Up Force solved this problem. The garage door would sometimes not go down, necessitating a slight increase in the Down Force setting.The garage door opener is now working as expected.Overall, I'm very happy with this product.

This was a great buy. Mine went out and the garage door opener co. Said they could not get the part for awhile, if at all. So I checked Amazon, they have it. The garage company wanted me to upgrade my whole system. Easy install, my son-in-law and husband did it. Easy to program. Works great. Prompt delivery.You won't be sorry, this saved me alot of money on a new garage door system.

Thunderstorms caused the logic board failure in my garage door.Installed the new part and everything works like it should.I ordered the part on Monday, spent extra on expedited shipping, received it by Wednesday. We'll worth it, saved me from buying a new garage door opener.Thank you!!!

My Liftmaster stopped working all of a sudden. Green light on wall remote flashing fast, then days later the light on the motor started flashing fast too. Changed the logic board and problem solved! Shipping wasn’t the fastest but the part is genuine, so worth the wait.
