Ant Proof Bowl (Blue)

Totally works. We live in Florida and it's "Leiningen Versus the Ants" down here. Ants will be swarming on food within minutes. I bought this bowl 5 months ago and our dog's dry food has been safe ever since. We have it inside his dog house on a flat surface with no way for ants to bridge the gaps.. but he kicks the bowl around in there and it's still sound. We've proven that it works against Solenopsis invicta (fire ants) and Camponotus floridanus (Florida carpenter ant) so it should work against Lasius field ants and other temperate species. Buying another one.

Well, it came on Sat. I opened the box and there was a bowl just sitting there. Like someone just picked it up off their floor and threw it in a box. No packing material around the bowl, bowl wasn’t in a box or any wrapping, no instructions, NOTHING but a bowl in a box. NOT HAPPY!

These seem sturdy enough but were way too big for either of my two small adult feral cats to eat from. (We bought two bowls.) We can’t make use of them. When I contacted the seller for a refund/return they never got back to me. Also, the bowls were terribly packed, just loosely banging together in a badly taped box. I’m so disappointed in the product, the seller, and the shipping and handling. I’m not sure if the bowls work well or not because we can’t use them, sadly. Gave two stars because the bowls appear durable.

It works!!!! I just moved to South Florida and if I ever leave any kind of food on the floor, the ants will find it within hours. It doesn't matter how many traps I put down or how much I spray outside - they find a way. This bowl has saved me. I can leave out dry food for my cats all the time without worrying about ants. Lifesaver.

Never had an ant get in there, not aware of any other product that can claim this. It's too bad there is only one size, very large for cat food or water. I have bought three of these so far.

I was really hopeful that this bowl would work well to keep ants out of the cat food, and at first it did seem to work pretty well, but now there are quite a few ants getting into the food. Maybe nothing can kepnthem out. 🙁. I use this bowl to feed feral cats, and if it worked wel, planned on buying several more, but will look for a different product that will hopefully work better.

It is working so far, but my Chihuahuas practically have to stand on their hind legs to eat out of it. Would probably be fine for normal sized dogs.

It worked for a few months and then my ants figured it out. Now they crawl into the bowl without a problem. I dont understand why it stopped working
