GVNPortable Adjustable Tactical Buttstock Shell Holder Cheek Rest Pouch Holder Pack with Ammo Carrier Case Black

I purchased two of these cheek-pads for my .308 and 7.62 carbine. True to previous comments, the straps are extra-long but can easily be adjusted and tucked under the pad to hide the excess. The pad is very comfortable and with some adjustments to my scope and red-dot, both the .308 and Carbine were sighted-in within one clip apiece. It's dramatically improved my comfort and improved accuracy on follow-up shots.

I put this on a very large rifle with a HS Precision stock, it doesn't fit very well but it works just fine for a very good price. I think it would fit just right on a smaller or normal style rifle stock.

All in all, it works for me and it's worth the price. I bought this for an old sporterized French Mas 36, the only way to mount a scope on it makes it sit really high so I needed a pad to make it more comfortable to shoot. I wanted something cheap (cheap rifle, cheap accessories) and I knew I would have to make a modification for the sling (the sling mounts center of the side of the buttstock--a center cut and it works). The rear strap is a good length but the forward strap is entirely too long, it may fit fine on a different rifle but not this one.The 7.5 French ammo fits fine in the sleeve so that is a plus.

I needed to cut the straps and resew the Velcro to get this to fit on my Axis II. The cheek rest was filled with a rolled up wad of packing material, which felt cheap. I took some of the padding out to make it more comfortable. The thing works fine now but for the amount of adjusting I needed to do I would consider this to be a bad product which I would not recommend. Fair price though, I'll try and update this later to say how it's help up over time (written 10/14/2017).Edit (10/16/2017): I received an email from the seller offering in broken English to refund my purchase in exchange for removing my negative review. Some people might consider this good customer service, but I feel this is a shady and dishonest business practice. I have changed my review from 2 stars to 1 star in response. Keep this in mind when considering the overall positive product ranking. Sidenote: consider buying this butt stock cover and leaving a negative review if you're looking for a free cheap product.

The 9mm Hi Point Carbine has a very poor plastic pad on the stock that makes what little recoil it has unbearable.This solves a few things... for one... it fits the 10 rd magazines if you undue the stitching between certain points... allowing you to hold 3 magazines on the stock. Second, the pad makes the minimal recoil a bit easier to deal with.I like the way it attaches with adjustable velcro. It is a nice product for the price.

The straps are supper long and in order to get the rest to be soild and not wiggle around I’m going to have to modify the straps or something. The 2 square rings in the middle touch each other and still could be a little tighter. My rifle is a Winchester XPR. The stick would have to be twice as tall or 3 times as wide to make the straps work. There is some loose threats and one of the Velcro strips is already starting to come off with just the trial fitting. Once I finger out how to modify it correctly I’ll up date my post. The rest it’s self it just rolled up packing foam. It fills the pad nicely until you start trimming it to make it correct so your eye lines up with the scope every time. At the point it was perfect for me the foam slid around a lot so I had to repack some of the foam back in to stop it from moving around. I think it would be better if the straps were attached to the cheek reast and then the other piece just covered it all!!
