Q: Hi - Does anyone have any epxerience of taking this as hold luggage? Do you think it's strong enough to stand up to being placed in the hold?

They aren't very sturdy but we have had ours for 4 years and they have been put through a lot of throwing and pulling and no breaks or damage yet so would probably be OK in the hold of plane.
