Versatility of fit for field and plate duty are primary concerns when purchasing these shirts. I purchased my normal size XL and it works well for both. Purchase your normal size, unless you like shirts to be a bigger/looser fit for some reason. Quality material that seems like it will be durable.

Great product, Good quality True to fit. Material has some stretch for umpire’s equipment underneath. But if you want a loser fit with equipment buy the next larger size.

It has a more athletic fit than most polos. It’s not droopy in the sleeves like some other polo style shirts and it still has room in the chest and stomach area to fit a thinner chest protector under it. The material is durable too. I need to buy another one…

Just as advertised fit was good for plate or base.

This is the second one I’ve purchased for my son that umpires. They wash up great and fit well!
