Poor construction - the monitor hinge broke first - short life
Within the first year the monitor hinge broke and was literally lifting the top surface apart. After about a year of dealing with gorilla tape, I clamped it so it would stay together longer. This laptop was an awful waste of money and I wish I could get a refund or replacement. This laptop just went dead on Saturday April 22, 2023. Everything on it was lost and we're out of the money used to purchase it in 2021. DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP and try never to purchase anything like this on Amazon.com because you don't know if it's a piece of trash and you've lost your investment. We don't have the money to replace something like this. Stay away from expensive electronics on Amazon.com. This was our first HP laptop and apparently these are not well constructed laptops. Stay away from HP Laptops. We're NOT happy at all about this purchase!

Microsoft Office 365
I had some problems getting the Microsoft 10 Pro to operate. I think the problem was that 11 was available and my computer wasn’t connecting to the correct download. This issue also extended to my email account. I was able to immediately contact HP and they got the issue resolved remotely and immediately. VERY happy with this computer.

Super clean
Gotta admit, some of the other comments did scare but I took the chance and order this anyways and I was not disappointed. From a price perspective:Looks? Super clean and sleekDisplay? Bright and clearSpeed? Snapping and no lags so farBattery life? Last a couple hours, could have been better. But worth the value.

Misleading description
The display is *NOT* IPS, it's TN, which HP calls SVA. This will be my first and last HP product.
