Practical & pragmatic
Ian has an engaging easy style which enables him to get his message over. The book is full of practical advice supported by everyday examples which enable you to apply the tools and techniques very easily. Overall a very useful addition to my library.

What about me?
In this book, the author illustrates ways the reader can understand how to best review and where necessary improve their “Productivity andPerformance.” In the main the subject is dealt with in a way which allows, the reader to set out a plan of action and suggests actions and tools which will best assist. Many of the suggestions are in the author's previous publications although here they appear “under one cover.” On a personal basis, I could have done without the references to Navy Seals and Elon Musk as their relevance to my personal improvement is questionable. Maybe, concentrate more on us“Ordinary Joe's” next time with advise on setting a more stepped and achievable improvement (day by day).Overall3*

Excellent guide to increased productivity and top performance.
In his new book "Productivity and Peak Performance" Ian Tuhovsky deals with the scientific basis of productivity and top performance. Tuhovsky provides a well-structured framework from building your own vision / goals to the importance of sleep and healthy nutrition to focus, single tasking and the importance of good habits.What is particularly positive about Tuhovsky's book is that he not only presents theses, but also backs them up with quotes and references to various sources. I have read a lot of books on this topic and I see Tuhovsky's new book clearly among the top 20% of books on this topic.For anyone who is interested in how to achieve their goals faster and reach top performance in their field, this book is a very clear reading recommendation.
