Works well:This stuff is so good in my large breadmaker. I use regular flour and a dab of this stuff and the bread comes out wonderful. Plain bread, cranberry raisin, sweet bread, spiced bread, it's all wonderful. I would recommend this to anyone.

I bake bread once a week, and use this vital wheat gluten to mix my own bread flour rather than buy the expensive pre-mixed bread flour. (in my area bread flour is almost double the price of all purpose flour!) pre-mixing my own bread flour makes this very good value for the money.It has a good protein content and is excellent quality. I always have delightful bread that rises well and has the perfect chew!I would highly recommend this for bread bakers.

The box looked to be undamaged but the bag of gluten had an opened seam and several tablespoons of powder had escaped into the box. I figured, wrongly, that I didn't to send the whole box back, and I proceeded to repackage the gluten and decontaminate the other item in the box. I was utterly unprepared for what was to come. Gluten is an incredibly fine and lightweight powder that turns to a gummy sticky mess when exposed to water. The bag was covered with gluten powder so my attempt to tape it up was a complete waste of time, but foolishly, I proceeded. Eventually I moved most of the weightless powder into two large jars. Then came the clean-up. Removing the powder from the countertop and sink was at least ten times harder than you might imagine. The powder defies gravity and responds any slightest air movement, so I tried a damp paper towel to try to overcome these traits. Mistake! When dampened the powder turns to a sticky stringy glue like substance that adheres to anything it touches. I'm maybe half finished with the clean-up. Next time I'm sending the whole box back to Amazon.

1 1/2 tablespoons will make the bread so easier to slice, all you'll need is a knife.

I bought this for Keto baking. It is good for baking bread and such. What I don't like is that to get areasonable price you have to buy a boat load of it. For those of us that don't live in the kitchen this is a boat load. I want a smaller package for a reasonable price. I seem to always be forced into way more than I want because of the price point. What if I don't even like it?? That's a lot of waste in that case.
