Passion Fruit Pulp with Real Tropical Fruit, Ready to Eat, 1.8 Liter Pack (2 pack)

I have been ordering fresh passion fruit or passion fruit puree from a number of different sellers. I honesty found this product to be the best for the price if you are wanting to just eat the fruit and have it be like a fresh product. For cooking or other uses there may be better products but I will stick with this one. The product is like eating the real fruit. It is a bit tangy/sour with the sweet but this is how fresh passion fruit tastes to me and what I like. So if you are a passion fruit addict that cannot get to the South Pacific or want to pay 100 (with shipping) for 5 pounds (including the shells, which i have done in the past) I believe this is the next best product at the most reasonable price.

I have spent a lot of money ordering fresh passion fruit and I've tried several pulps and syrups. This is the best one I've tried. I use it to make caipirinha's and they are just as good as the ones you get in a bar in Brasil. Use about an ounce of this pulp, a half a lime (diced), and about 2 tablespoons of sugar, smash in a relatively strong cocktail glass with a pestle. Add ice. Add cachaca (not the same as Brazilian rum, do not substitute. Cachaca 61 is a decent brand for the money). Stir thoroughly. Cut a straw in half and enjoy slurping the delicious mixture from the bottom of the glass.

Very fresh, and tastes great. I used these passion fruit pulp to make mousse cake. I will buy this again for sure!

This is the guts from inside the passion fruit in the Dominican. I've searched for juices and no luck for anything "real". Can't get the real fruits in local stores. I thought about ordering the fruits to be shipped, but who knows if what you get is ripe or rotten. I love the sweet tartness of these and this package is just like you scooped it out of the fruit yourself. It came well packaged and was cold, not frozen when I received it. I could have cooked with it or made something but I sat there and ate it in 2 sittings right out of the bag :) I will purchase more. The reason I said 4 instead of 5 star is because it is a little pricey for the 16oz. Though I understand why. Gathering, and shipping fresh product is expensive, and they did a great job of it, I'm just cheap. I also wish it came in a bigger container. Also, the availability of product fluctuates. It was available mid Feb but then early April it was't. Now it's back. Not sure if world events are what caused that, or how often shipments come in. Either way, this is the real pulp with no texture change. My mouth is watering just thinking about it :) Highly recommend this product to take you back to the tropics, even if it is just for a few bites :)

If your a passion fruit lover, and this is the best product. I am brazilian and I have always loved passion fruit, however in the U.S it is hard to find and expensive. (Like seriously one time I saw the fruit at Von’s for $5 per fruit!) I am so happy with the taste and quality of the product. I love to put passion fruit in my smoothies in the morning, it gives me energy and helps me control appetite, so I’ve been using every day. I will update once I finish the package how many days it lasts. Overall it is a great product if your looking for real passion fruit with all the benefits and no added preservatives and sugar... etc. this is the real raw fruit and although it is pretty expensive, I think it’s a good price compared to how much you buy the individual fruits and grocery stores in the United States.

I will never understand why passionfruit pulp isn't more common. I was nervous to buy what looked like a plastic ziploc full of pulp - worried it would burst or get punctured in shipping. It did not and the product inside was terrific - I used it for homemade passionfruit ice cream (with a bowl, a mixer, and a loaf pan, no special equipment) and it turned out rich and creamy with the perfect blend of sweet and tart that is the essence of this fruit. I still think the packaging is asking for trouble, but this time it worked out. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the product, though, even with that issue.

I was super excited to receive the passion fruit based on the reviews...I literally just received them right now they were extremely hot!! When I tried them they have a funny taste...they are definitely spoiled....I gave it two stars because of fast shipping...Update I got second package today, and they are definitely delicious. Taste just like the fruit..Love their customer service as well.

This is the only product I could locate on Amazon that still contains the wonderful seeds. Some people will prefer to have the seeds removed but I love them. In So Cal, passion fruit grows easily on vines but I haven't planted one. This is a slightly different variety but I like it very much. I used gelfix (European jam making product) to make a low sugar passion fruit jam which we put on top of greek yogurt. Wonderful if you love tart fruity flavors!
