Mandatory reading for entrepreneur/business owners
Cameron (or Cammy as you've now gone public), I'm sitting on flight having just finished your book. Glad you are my friend! Well done and of high value to aspiring entrepreneurs-it is now on the short lists I recommend regularly. Let me know if the following review for Amazon meets with your liking.First off, I want it to be known that Cameron and I have worked together in a capacity with me as a consultant to one of his ventures, as well as in his current life as a business Coach. While I feel this should not take away from my review, I did want the disclosure out there for "life skeptics".Those who know me also know I can be tougher on those I know and care for than on a stranger. That being said, Double Double should be mandatory reading for anyone who desires to be a successful entrepreneur/business owner. While there are several "nitpick" areas where I can disagree with Cameron and his positions/recommendations, the vast majority of advice he delivers here is "spot on".As a former serial entrepreneur having built 6 companies into national firms in the USA, I sure wish Double Double was around back then! Sure would have saved me money, made me money and helped me avoid so much stress both in my business as well as my personal life.Cameron has displayed the courage to roll back his skin and let us in. Few folks have the capacity to do so. In doing so, Cameron shares the good and bads of his business experiences so that we can better leverage the goods while minimizing the bads. Not only will the reader experience a better run Company but a better run life! The readers biggest challenge will be narrowing down the action items and prioritizing where to begin. Fortunately, Cameron shares a process to follow to do so, however you will still be challenged. While a few items will become dated with advancing technologies (some already have taken place), the overriding learning and action points will stand the test of time. Cameron has nailed the basics. And, when the entrepreneur builds the process to ensure the basics are consistently practiced, their business has the opportunity to "Double Double".Buy the book, read the book and implement the actions-NOW!"Who luvsya man?"

Must read for business owners who want to expand swiftly and maintain good company structure and culture (or rescue it!)
Double Double is one of my favorite books among all business books I read. I love the author Cameron's idea of having a 3 years plan. For people who work for a corporation or in business, the very question they ask themselves every year end is - what is our 5 or 10 years plan. For me I agree with Double Double's 3 years plan. 3 years plan is not too long and not too short, very measurable. Throughout the book, Cameron also shared the importance of having a "vision picture" or "painted picture" and why we should forget the "how" first when we plan and dream for the "painted picture".After reading the book, readers learn- how to write a vision picture- what and how you should foresee, plan, handle and manage a number of aspects (hiring, communication, meetings, marketings, PR, Leverage Technology etc during the fast growth period- How you should handle when grows turn slow- Why and how to focus on leadershipI wish I have read this book years ago when I first started a partnership with a good friend. It hasn't been a very successful one. I believe the main reason is that me being the PIC of the company haven't shared clearly the vision, direction and path of the company. I also fail to develop a good culture. In this book, I learn success of a company comes when everyone share the same vision and same goal - like all in the same ship but not having a scattered mind.A good read for entrepreneurs and start-ups. The more partners/staff you have in the company, the more useful you will find this book.

A Brilliant "Go To" book by Cameron Herold on how to Double Your Companies Revenue in 3 Years!
Once again, Cameron Herold knocks it out of the park with this easy to read and highly valuable book that shows you the EXACT STEPS you must take to double your company's review in 3 years. Unlike the countless "experts" who haven't built or scaled a company - Cameron has been there - done that many times over! Cameron is a highly sought after business coach and serial entrepreneur whom I have had the privilege of watching coach & grow companies for years - including being the mastermind behind the wildly successful 1-800-GOT-JUNK? If you want to take your company to the next level, this book is a MUST READ! Thank you Cameron Herold for sharing your wisdom!

Not Really a "How To" book.
WOW! Hard to believe I'm the only one who didn't give this book 5 stars. The book is not a How To ... like the subtitle suggests. It does have some useful ideas about various aspects of business (vision, communication, hiring, metrics), though none of them are ground breaking. But what disappointed was the lack of a coherent process as the title indicated. His only process is to create a vision for where your company should be in 3 years then start working on all these other aspects - but he doesn't give any way to prioritize or structure the process. I suspect he does this better in his one-on-one consulting which this book seems designed to promote. In addition, most of the advice seems to be geared toward small companies - ie those without an HR person - despite his stories of coaching at very large companies. The marketing and PR sections also seem slanted toward consumer oriented companies rather than B2B.He relies heavily on his experience with 1-800-GOTJUNK and College Pro Painters. The latter company is not that well regarded in my experience and I thought the former company was until I read a piece in this book where revenue fell because they ran out of franchises to sell. It occurs to me that a franchise company that makes most of it's money from selling franchises rather than the royalty of selling products or services is probably asking to be a flash in the pan. Good thing Herold got out when he did. You'll probably get some good ideas reading this book - but if you read a lot of business books you'll have seen many (maybe all) of the ideas in other places. Just don't expect it to be a step by step recipe.

Helps good companies become great
The aim of this book is to help entrepreneurs to double sales and profit in 3 years. That's the equivalent of 25% growth per year thanks to the magic of compounding.I thought this was a well written book for helping good companies to become great. It's particularly strong on leadership, organisational culture and team building. It also has some useful tips on how to grow within a recession including some that are counter-intuitive.It's not a book for businesses that need a turnaround in profit and cash performance or where sales are very low. The chapter on marketing is about building brand awareness and I believe that most small businesses need to focus more on direct response marketing so they know what's working and what's not.It also ignored issues like understanding the wider business environment or understanding customer needs and wants and then identifying a differentiated solution that can be produced and sold at a good profit. There was little about beating competitors or exploiting areas where they were weak or vulnerable. It is recommended for anyone who manages a business that is already performing well and doesn't face changing competitive threats.About my book reviews - I aim to be a tough reviewer because the main cost of a book is not the money to buy it but the time needed to read it and absorb the key messages. 4 stars means this is a good to very good book.Paul Simister, a business coach who helps business owners who are stuck, get unstuck.

Really comprehensive guide to develop your company
This book was recommended by a very successful online businessmen during his insightful and inspirational presentation. I've attended many business seminars and webinars and read a lot of business books in my life and especially the last two years when I started my own busines (which I'm building from the scratch and which I want to be organised in a proper way). I don't always finish reading books, I mostly read just a few pages and finish reading back to back only a selected few. This book captivated me at once because of the author style, similarity in his view on business to mine, clarity and consistency. But the most important thing I learned reading this book so far (I'm going to read it several more times to implement all the technics I found practical ) is its is a very comprehensive guide to develop your company. All in one guide to company's culture and a very practical step by step instructions on how to grow your company. It gives you the guidelines - the rest is in your hands, just do it! While reading this book I emailed Cameron asking to share with me some examples and his reply was prompt and very helpful. Highly recommend.

Simple and Inspiring
I attended Cameron's business seminar at Inbound 2015 and felt so inspired by his speech focussing on the importance of corporate culture that I ordered the book.I have run a number of companies from start-ups to quoted companies and always stressed the importance of shared visions, missions, values, and culture. I've always felt the various statements were contrived and unnatural but pushed ahead with them as perceived best practice. But the 'painted picture' concept comes across as simple, comprehensive and easier to get staff to buy into - we all love a story and the goals are crystal clear. I have already recommended the book to others and started painting my double double picture already.

The Go To Guide for the Busy Business Owner
Cameron has delivered an easy to read guide which rattles through the majority of key drivers you'll need for rapid business growth. The real beauty of this book is not in Cameron's ability to tell you what you should be doing (you'll find yourself nodding sagely throught) but it is the way he deconstructs his advice into simple, bite size, actionable, chunks. I have set myself one "Double Double" task per day and within a week I (and my team) have felt the difference. Cameron's book will remain on my desk as a constant reference until we achieve the growth we are out to create.
