The thing I hate about reviews, they are typically written by customers who didn't read or research the product to begin with. So let me help you make this decision.I've used these books for over ten years back when Brigade Quartermasters was printed on the back as the military supplier.**Important**You cannot use gel pens. Now say it with me " I will not use gel pens or highly liquid inks on this paper to include highlighters, fountain pens, water colors, and acrylic paint ". There we go, got that out of our system now. Common sense kicks in right about now as it's a waterproof paper, so if you're upset about that, that's a you problem and not a product defect. Pencils are my go-to writing instrument; however, the paper is treated and you'll see noticable erase marks. Sharpie works well but will bleed through slightly sand the poster must be dry. Actually, it's more so a noticable color differential, if you passed basic science class you'll understand the difference between black and white and thus why you can see sharpie on the backside. I've never had it completely bleed through from taking a quick note. However, if you're leaving the sharpie on it long enough to bleed through, again that's a problem with you and not the product.DO NOT write on this paper while diving. I say that but I guarantee somebody will write a complaint about it not having an IP rating. Babies, paper, and comms typically don't fair well underwater. It's not my area of expertise so ask a diver. A real one and not a Navy Seal.The notebooks were originally issued to me in the Marines, and was treated as an essential piece of my uniform. I drew up battle plans for years on these. Back when I turned the battlefield into my own lead infused chaotic artistic interpretation of Starry Night. Ten years later the paper is still intact and no fading or discoloration on a notebook I found recently.The Cover displays useful conversion for maps, measurements, and linear (see pictures). The back cover also gives you a ruler up to 4 1/4" inches and 11cm.These books are in every trauma and boo boo first aid kit I own. They are stored in every toolbox, glove compartment, emergency kit, camping gear, and next to my toilet when I brilliant idea comes to me during my morning glory. I was the officiant at my ex wife's wedding and wrote the speech in the shower the morning of.At the end of the day it's a pad of paper. You're buying it for it's durability in all weather climates. If the Amphibious Apocalyptic dealers of death we call Marines use them around the world in every clime or place, I'm sure you're "to-do" list will be ok.In conclusion, buy the notepad and if you regret your purchase, you're probably somebody that's irrationally difficult to please and found it necessary to express their dislike via a review because that's what difficult and unhappy people do. It's a notepad much like a baby, don't submerge it and expect it to work like advertised. Use the writing instruments instructed by the manufacturer, and use the thing in-between your ears. These pads are amazing for police work durable in your pocket and can take getting wet/rained on. Good thickness of paper. Note the sheets don’t rip off very easy they stay on good. I have put this note pad through every type of weather and work scenario and has never failed me. BUY the notepad, you will not regret it.

These are fantastic notebooks. Whether you carry one on you daily, or just keep one stashed in your vehicle or workshop for occasional use, the waterproof pages and sturdy plastic covers stand up to conditions that normal notebooks would practically dissolve in.Unfortunately, the waterproof nature of the paper means that not all writing instruments will work reliably to clearly mark the pages. Pencil is recommended, but it has the advantage of being equally waterproof, so your notes will not be ruined like with the average ball point pen.

Shipping is fast. I have used these for a long time. The cover is sturdy. Some pens dont write as well on these. I read that ballpoint pens work better. I tried that and it has worked for me. All in all a great notebook. Look foward to ordering again.

I bought these to take field notes for my military and law enforcement jobs. They work well for me and seem to hold up. I use a regular pen which works just fine.

That great rite in the rain quality. I bought one of the mechanical pencils of the same color. Easy to find in my first aid kit. Strong and durable.

This is pretty simple. Yes it’s water proof and you can write on it. I enjoy having these smaller note pads for my check list or for when I’m on the go. So if your searching for that this will be the perfect item for you.

Write in the rain makes "bomber" little field books. They make terrible pens and pencils, but the books - yep, they are worth the money. I use these to record fishing data when fly fishing in remote mountain locals. Win!

These are some of the most durable notepads Ive ever used. I dropped one of my notepads into a bucket of diesel by accident, let it drip off, and it still worked like a charm. 10/10 would recommend to anyone to use.I purchased the black ones and they came to me in yellow so there is that but it’s still the same product and honestly I would have lost the black one anyones so it worked out.
