Class Loved Them
I used these for my kids in my class after we finished a unit on insects. One bag is enough for a class. Most of my class got 2 or 3 each. They loved them.

Perfect for covering in chocolate
They arrived whole and not crushed and some reviews had me worried. There were several sizes so it was perfect for everyone to choose their own for our chocolate covered insect station.

Kids love them
I got these for Sunday school as a gag for the kids. John the baptist eating bugs in the wilderness. They loved them and shared them with their parents and grandparents.

Novel snack item; quite pricey; lacks nutritional info
Insects are a very viable protein source, and one that I'd like to see more of given the greater sustainability compared with other protein sources. This is a very small pouch of dried crickets. And I emphasize the word "small" -- the contents of the entire pouch is about a handful at best. While crickets are pricey regardless of the manufacturer, this is pricey compared with other similar options. The quality seems to be good, with the crickets having a light, earthy flavor that is accented with a little salt. A stronger flavoring would have made them more enjoyable since they don't have much of a taste as-is.I was disappointed that the package lacks nutritional info. I think that's essential info that any quality manufacturer should (and usually do) provide. They are manufactured by the Thailand Unique Co, so I assume they are made in Thailand, but the package doesn't specifically state the place of manufacture or from where the crickets are sourced. The price, plus the lack of essential info for a food product, puts my score at 3 stars. While insects are a food source I'd very much like to see expand in the US, this particular option falls short on a few important criteria.

Crunchy Goodness
My husband loves unique snacks and he enjoyed these. It's a smaller bag so it was easy to finish in a sitting for him. They're crunchy and tastes like crispy bits of a chip. They can be messy when taking out of the bag, we had some legs falling on tshirt when taking them out initially. The biggest plus was the crispy made it easy to try something new. If you closed your eyes and ate one, you wouldn't notice it being a bug you're eating, just a crunchy snack.

Not worth the money, NO whole crickets!
We thought we were ordering crickets. My son was so excited to try these. We got a bag full of what looked like saw dust. We wanted whole crickets. From what we saw of descriptions and reviews they were whole. Very disappointed.
