We have a 16 year old long haired kitty who has always had beautiful, long, well-groomed fur. As she has gotten older it’s gotten harder and harder for her to do her own grooming, and she hates to be brushed - as a result she developed numerous “turkey feathers” (mats). I decided to shave her vs try to hand cut them all out (there were a LOT, and trying to hold a squirming cat while trimming giant mats from under armpits and belly while wielding sharp scissors sounded like a recipe for disaster). I wanted something quiet that stayed cool to the touch, was cordless, rechargeable, and actually effective. Other cheap clippers I’ve tried in the past didn’t work all that well. But THESE…oh…these cut through mats like butter!These clippers are fantastic! They are very quiet, and didn’t scare our kitty. They only have one speed, but they have multiple guards for different lengths. The single speed is just fine, it worked great all over her and didn’t feel too slow or fast. The ceramic blade meant that the clippers stayed cool to the touch even during long grooming sessions (I’m not a pro so it took me a while to get her whole body given the number of serious mats I had to contend with). The charge lasts about 2 hours, and it recharges quickly. The clippers themselves are small and lightweight, so were comfortable for me to use. The clippers went through seriously dense/thick mats with no problem once I got the hang of how to properly do it (I stuck a comb through the bottom of the mat closest to her skin and then used the clippers to shave the mat off above the comb so as not to cut her skin by accident). Our girl now has a stylish lion cut and seems so much happier now that the mats aren’t pulling on her skin like they had been. I can’t believe how amazing these little clippers are for the price - I’m very pleased with my purchase and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for pet clippers.

I have a senior rabbit, Jonah Spruthers, who is having grooming issues. His hair in his private area is dense, but short. It is matted and urine stained. This clipper trimmed his clean hair beautifully, but had a hard time going through the matted hair. I did nick him once (I’m so sorry, Jonah!) but I am confident it was due to his mats being so close to the skin. We got it all trimmed down though! It works great on fine fluffy rabbit hair! It was very quiet, so the noise did not alarm him at all. The narrow blade didn’t do much for this area, but I’m thinking it’d be good for feet/ears based on its performance. Easy to use, affordable, quiet, clean, simple, and it works. Hopefully it’s durable!

This product came in a clean neat box with attachments at a good price. The best is the quiet hum of using Clippers on my baby. I had to check to make sure it was on. Comfortable to handle, it arrived just as it was advertised.

Great for training new puppy to groom. Very quiet and works well in tight arear around face and pottey parts. Easy to handle, great size for interim trims.

My cat HATES being brushed but will rub up against these clippers (making for a rather uneven shave, but whatever, still takes care of the mats and fluff and you can’t tell after a few weeks). She doesn’t mind being shaved with these at all and they can get through her thick mats. The only thing I wish is that there was an option for guards—while the clippers don’t hurt her, the only way to get a smooth shave is to do a close shave, I’d like the option of different lengths (thus the 4 stars). Battery life is good, product is gentle and effective.

I was very hesitant to order this machine, because of the size and price. I thought to myself, there is no way something so small and cheap could do a good job and there is no way the battery would last while I cut the hair of my 3 cats. Well, let me tell you, I have never been so happy to be proven wrong. Once I charged the machine to a full battery, I immediately set out to cut the hair of my 3 cats. I was amazed that the machine did not make as much noise as the older more larger and expensive machines I have bought in the past. My cats were able to relax because the machine made so little noise. When in the past they would always freak out the whole time I tried to cut their hair because they were so scared of the noise of the old machines. Their hair cuts went by so cleanly and so quickly, I am in such awe of this cutter. I wish I could give it 10 stars instead of 5 stars.

Bought to shave an area down on one of my animals that had a wound. It works well.

I am NOT a groomer by any means but we have a set of clippers like these at work for surgery prep. I saw how good it was for that so decided to get a set for myself for when I need to do a sanitary trim on one of our dogs or in the case now…shaving one of our cats who mats up super easily. Ordering a 2nd set because the battery life on a full charge wouldn’t quite get us done with a full groom. Quiet motor so doesn’t stress our cat out. Beats me having to pay to get him groomed or a potty patch on our dogs for sure!
