I have one magnifier in every room. this brand is the best, has clear, bright instant light, so easy to use. It is solid and well made, but just a tad heavy for me.

Helpful tool for low light settings or vision impaired readers. Great for reading small print instructions or labels

This sa a good magnifying glass and it works well and puts out a lot of light for easy reading. The only down side is that the on/off button is very touchy and turns one when you pick it up or set something on top of it. It would also be nice if the handle folded up for easier storage or traveling.

Only has a narrow spot in the middle going all away across that does any decent magnification. Off this spot, magnification is much less and a little bit distorted. The 8X is great when needed. LEDs are useful. As everyone has noticed, the LED switch is a bit sensitive but you can easily solve this problem. Light enough to use long enough to read several chapters of a book before your hand gets tired. I'll just work with it. Maybe I can get use to only reading within the narrow section across the middle that magnifies the best. Looks and feels well built, but time will tell. Best part is that you can charge the batteries with the included cable. I've used my PC or my cellphone's charger. Comes with a nice carrying bag and lens cleaning cloth.

My husband had a stroke that has impacted his vision. He absolutely loves this magnifying glass! The light feature is wonderful too, it is very bright. Lightweight, easy to recharge (no batteries!).

I got this magnifier to help in reading, but it has several annoying characteristics. First, the light switch that has 4 levels, functions unpredictably, if at all. I have tried to find a predictable way to use the button, but hasn't found it. So, if I press the button repeatedly, it sometimes responds, sometimes not. Then again, sometimes it works even if I have not had my fingers anywhere close to it!Second, I had thought that the handle that is in a diagonal position, would be good for reading, but it isn't. Holding the magnifier this way seems to tire out the wrist muscles faster than the magnifier with a conventional handle.Last, the viewing window does not magnify well and is not as clear as magnifiers using glass.Another magnifier for me!

Love the light weight and the fact that it’s rechargeable! Works great to read and the lights are amazing! The on/off button is very sensitive so might wrap something around that part to keep it from accidentally turning on and draining the power! Very nice for the price.
