Works great, very simple.Tip: When you scale larger fish that have larger scales, like Striper, do that in your sink when the fish is under 10" of water or so, it keeps the scales from flying all over the place and using their natural "Super glue" sticking power onto everything you don't want them to be on. Use a sink strainer though to catch most of them when you drain, can't imagine they're good for the pipes. I also use a back and forth motion, which works great (Instead of just one direction against the scales).Cleans up in a snap and it's a well built tool that should last for years.
