This was a bit disappointing, although I’m not sure if it was merely operator error. I just need to try again but the images were not crisp. It was disappointing but I will continue to persevere.

I ordered 3 packs of this paper for Vacation Bible School. (For some reason, I had to place an order for 2, and then place another order for 1. But that’s a different story.) One pack worked beautifully, but the first pack and the last pack we used that day didn’t react the same way. We did all the exact same techniques, on the same sunny, hot day, but 2/3 of the kids took home muted, pale prints and 1/3 took home beautiful, deep blue prints. It was very unfortunate.

I opened the package and attempted to make a print per the directions. The paper turned slightly lighter but not white so I exposed it a few minutes longer. No change. Rinsed it in cool water and the image was slightly visible but when it dried, no image remained. I have used other cyanotype paper and have had great results. Not with this one, though.

I should have read the reviews. This paper was already exposed, the whole stack, inside it's black envelope. It's supposed to be white but instead it's all a medium to dark blue. And I can't even return it. Not happy.

In the directions it suggests an exposure of 5 to 10 minutes. In the above image I exposed the paper for 30 minutes in full noon day sun. As you can see the image is very faint. I even used a weak hydrogen peroxide solution to increase the rate of oxidation.

2 of the 3 packs I bought looked like they had already been exposed to light (not dark blue). The third pack didn't work at all. Left outside in sun all day and only got the faintest impression on it.

I tried this several times and had no success. We have had bright sunny days so that is not the problem. Followed directions - am unhappy that I bought this

Follows instructions carefully but the paper doesn’t work at all. Save your money and don’t buy this brand!
