Making finger mullet rigs

I got the size 10 for replacing trebles on small spinning lures, as I don't like to use trebles, and they work great for that. They seem like a very strong hook with a nice shape, easy to slip on to a split ring, but will stay in place. Two things I don't like are that they are not super sharp out of the box... but nothing a few strokes of a hook hone can't fix. I also like to fish barbless, and the barbs are a bit tough to pinch down, but with good needle nose pliers it shouldn't be a problem (I was using the pliers on a swiss army knife.)

These are sharp with an open shank to easily use for lures, smaller, for use with pieces of cut bait to catch some smaller fish. If needed the open shank can be closed up with thread or a crimp. Hot glue also works. I like them.

I love trout fishing and I have tried everything to get the trout to bite on my hook. While I still use many different methods to fish for trout, when I fish for trout on Power Bait I use these hooks.I used to use size 14 single golden hooks but I found too many times that I either was losing the Power Bait off the hook or I lost the trout because after the initial bite the hook laid flat and did not grab on anything (at least that is my theory).This hook has resolved both of these issues, it holds Power Bait MUCH better and it holds on to the fish MUCH better =DThe hooks are very sharp and very durable. I would recommend to anyone.

This hooks are of good quality. They handled the decent size bluefish that hit my lure. They hold thier shape relatively well. Only "downside" really is getting them separated from each other in thier original packaging (I suggest doing that BEFORE hitting the beach for surf casting). Price wise they seem to be a good market deal.

...way too expensive. Even at the 50 pack they are pricey. I’d understand if they were this price at 10/0 or so but 6/0. Cmon.

Use these for trout fishing with live minnows. Though they work, I loose a lot of fish because of the spread between the hooks; they should be tighter.

Arrived before date promised. This style of fishing hooks is difficult to find in stores. Purchased to replace treble hooks on "Muskie" lures to stop damage to lures. These double hooks should also provide higher percentage of hook-ups as two hooks are below lure versus only one hook on a treble hook setup, while the other two hooks scratch the lure body.
