Update: After 2 weeks of straight use; customer service
Update:Middle leg of cot started to fail and bend at the plastic connection joint (refer to green circled pic of a joint example) after 2 weeks of use. The bend is occurring perpendicular to the support structure, so I consider it an inevitable catastrophic failure.I reached out to the company, and heard back within 4 business days. By today’s standards, I find that very acceptable. The company rep asked for a photograph of the failure, which I immediately responded to. 2 additional business days later, I received an email from the company with a shipping confirmation of a new support leg and a mention that my pic and comments had been forwarded to their R&D.10-stars for the customer service experience.Given this whole experience, I still recommend this cot, but for for lighter users (weight - less than 160 lbs) and or for lighter occasional use.Original review below:This cot is fabulous! I’ve owned 5 cots over the years, and this one’s my favorite by far.Pros: super portable! This cot is small and light, yet VERY sturdy. Build quality is really good with double stitching and rip-stop fabric (see yellow in pics). The locking mechanism is very robust (requires some strength to lock) and makes installation easy compared to most other locking options (see green in pics). The main support poles are pocketed or captured (see blue in pics) which keeps the fabric taut for no-bunching comfort. Assembly takes about 3 minutes and my kids were able to intuitively figure the process out. They could not however engage the previously mentioned locks.Cons - the fabric is very thick rip stop nylon, so it does not breathe compared to a traditional canvas cot. Leg padding that connects to the floor is foam (see red in pics). I suspect this will be the only part of the cot that will fail in time if used outdoors on surfaces other than grass. If used in a tent or on a tarp, it should hold up just fine. None of these cons are game changers… but I thought it’s worth mentioning. Conclusion - the pros easily outweigh the cons and I emphatically recommend this cot to anyone looking for a portable option given they don’t need a high ground clearance type cot. This cot will probably earn a permanent spot in my camping gear, and I could see myself picking up a couple more to replace some of my other cots.

Super light but durable
We first used it in a hotel to split up 2 children who didn't want to share a bed.Subsequently, we've used it camping. It is quick to setup. It may require a little more torque than a small child can do. But any adolescent or smaller frame adult should not have extreme difficulties. The size of the cot is impressive. My father in law is 6'2" and 260 pounds. He was more than fine head to toe and shoulder to shoulder. I'm hoping to get him camping (which is obviously uncomfortable on the ground at his size) with this cot.It is a great sleep. There may be a slight noise while turning in the night (like a squeak because the fabric is so taught against the frame). But the tradeoff to sleeping on the ground or even a nice camping pad (which often has noises as well) is huge.In my opinion, the only better sleep alternative would be those large, bulky inflatable beds which may even be too large for smaller hotel rooms and completely impractable for most camping. The extra value is in the super lightweight frame and size (both when put away and while setup on the floor).

Compact cot
This cot is compact and very firm. Suggest having a thin mat to cushion your hips. Once you get it set up it is hard to take the legs off. You should include a small pry bar to undo the latching mechanism. Other than that. It went up real easy. It seems like they enclosed the end so you can't get the side poles in. But you have to grab the tabs to discover the access holes. Very smart design. It gives a little cup pocket to keep the side poles from slipping out.

Light, very compact & Sturdy camp cot
I really like this camp cot and will be testing it in the field, on a multi-day camping trip this weekend. So far I've put it through its paces and could not be happier with the product. It is extremely compact and packs extremely well, my primary use for this is for car camping. It weighed in at 4lbs 14oz on my scale and is light and very compact for my targeted use.Setup was a breeze and I was impressed by how simple the process was. Once you've extended the 2 long poles for the side frames, simply insert them into the marked ends of the fabric portion of the cot. The 3 tension/stabilizer bars were extremely easy to setup as well. I set this up in 2 minutes without needing to refer to the instructions. The tension and firmness of the cot will work extremely well and I will be trying it out with and without a thin mattress pad for comfort. The fabric is comfortable without the need for an additional pad, but I will be trying it out nonetheless. The stabilizer bars provide great tension and firmness for the cot, without making it overly hard to sleep on, there is just the right amount of give when laying or sitting on it. When it's time for disassembly, use both hands, one to grip and squeeze the lever and the other to depress the button locks on either side of the lever. Gently release the pressure on the lever to prevent it from snapping back outwards. This is a great purchase so far and I will be using it a lot over the coming weeks!**Update**I got to use this in the field over the weekend on a multi day camping trip, it is very comfortable and sturdy. It's light weight, compact design and portability has made this cot a permanent addition to my packing list!

Cannot recommend do to the flimsy leg construction.
This has a cool design but it is a shame they didn't make the support legs strong enough to support their claimed weight.I weight 270-280lbs after a good meal and with a couple of pounds worth of pocket content (key chain, flashlight two multitools, a knife two wallets, mace and my phone) and, despite the claim that this can support upto 310lbs, this cot didn't even last one night. Two of the legs collapsed, bending in so that there is not enough tension to hold the cot between them.Hopefully I can find some way of making replacement legs that won't break with one use so I don't have to trash the frame but I cannot recommend this product as is unless you are a very light person. Even then there is no telling how long it will last you.

Great cot
Used these cots a wk ago camping. They were great, very comfortable. I read the reviews and it was mentioned to put them together before really using them as they could be a little work to put them together. After doing that they were easier/quicker to put together. Great buy. No complaints at all.

impressed with the Sturdiness and light weight
Like Goldilocks and the Three Bears, this too, was our 3rd attempt at a comfortable sleep while camping. Not only does it have to be comfortable - but it also has to be lightweight and very compactable. So far we are beyond impressed with this very light and very sturdy sleep cot!.. We love how firm the fabric is and the extra layers of silver..for extra warmth... but I love how the cot still has a little bit of bounce - give for that extra comfort! .. I believe they are rated for 250 lbs - but they are also fairly slim - only 26 inches wide - but we can still sleep on our sides! - cold definitely be used for hikers - only 4 lbs if that!

Cheap construction
Have used this cot twice —the cot material is cheap and tore along seam. The leg supports-hand clamps do not stay in place.VERY cheaply made and customer service when trying to speak to them is horrible and non- existence. What a waste of money!

Great cot until....
I was impressed with the cot, used it 3 or 4 times. Other had used it with no issue. Its sturdy, light and I slept soundly on it.However good things come to an end. The support leg at the end where I had my feet has snapped, loosening the tension off at that end. Tje aluminum tube cracked at the first bend. I will be contacting then for a replacement leg at minimum.
