Rough and flimsy
This is flimsy and low quality. It doesn't close very positively and don't think it would last long. Rough casting on inside parts. However, I've purchased it to replace a broken original one for the purpose of selling the car and it fits - should just about do the job. I would purchase a different one if buying again.

Works to hold water bottles for kids in the back seat
My kids lost their cup holders when they outgrew their booster seats, which meant that on long car trips, water bottles ended up on the floor. These tuck in the pockets behind the driver and passenger seat and hold two water bottles plus a small box of snacks, and are kid approved. It's not the intended use, but it's perfect for what we needed. I only wish the bottom flange was a little longer, to make it even more secure in the pocket.
