The first one didn't work well at all and stopped turning consistently after a few months. They sent a replacement and so far so good.

This stopped working less than one month after I received it. The roller no longer rolls. Very disappointed.

Update: The company reached out to me and offered to send a replacement. I have been using the replacement for over a month and it is still working. The front lights are a good feature. The suction power is decent, although not as powerful as the Dyson brush head. But is it also a lot less expensive than the Dyson brush head, so I did not expect the same suction power.I bought this brush head for my Dyson V11 Animal. I liked that it was brushless and did not scratch my vinyl plank floors. Unfortunately, it has already stopped working after just a month of normal use. It will not spin any more. Tried it on both of our Dyson v11 units. And the return window is already closed, of course. Not worth the money.

The replacement part is different. Not quite as wide and in my opinion it doesn't handle quite as well as the older version. But the suction is great, and I'm anxious to try the new wood floor head.

This product works fine on hardwood, but have a rug or carpet with any deepness to the pile, and it will struggle. It automatically stops spinning the brush when it gets overloaded. Must run on the high setting for it to function with any certainty on carpet and rugs.

My wife and I were really loving this replacement especially the headlights on it. The light made it so easy to see where you have been already on our dark wood floors. Last week it just stopped running for more then 3 seconds at a time. Switched back to the original head and it works fine now. Disappointed because we like it much better then the original but we are past the return period. Waist of 40 bucks.....

I have a short rug that my other vacuum head would not vacuum (it would just stop suction and shut off) and was looking for a replacement since this dyson animal vacuum cannot adjust the height for vacuuming carpets/rugs. This was perfect and got the job done! Lightweight and the light on the front is a great addition for seeing those stubborn dog hairs. Love it so far!

It has little suction and does not grip the floor like the original. The light is nice, but effective vacuuming is critical and this does not have it. I was so hopeful.
