Well built boat hook
Just purchased a pontoon boat and this should make it much easier for passengers to help get docked safely

Short length
Look at the length before ordering. It's very short. seems to function ok.

Hook broke immediately, cheap plastic, photos misleading.
It seems the photos showing brass-colored connectors are misleading, at best. The connector between the hook and pole is cheap black plastic (see my pix), not brass as shown in their pix. The bolt immediately twisted out of the plastic when i tightened it down; it never even got snug enough to use.What else would you expect from this design? I now see similar concerns noted by others about the cheap plastic connector. Bummer bc the fiberglass pole itself is quite nice, but not usable without a decent hook.This was a waste of my time and money. I would not have purchased this if the photos had been accurate.

Broke with very little pressure
Lightweight and looks nice but tip is poorly designed and cracked.
