I'm am an avid believer and user of supplements, but reviewing them is problematic, and my results may not be your results for these reasons:1) I am not a laboratory scientist, I do not play one on tv, nor do I know one, so who knows what’s exactly contained in them.2) It is difficult for consumers to see any actual difference in how you feel within a few days to a couple of weeks. Some supplements take as much as ninety days to see results.3) Even if we do notice a difference, we all take other meds or supplements that may affect our results one way or the other.4) We all have different physiologies, and are just different in so many ways (lifestyles etc). But we can hope for the best when we see others having positive actions going on, that are attributed to said supplements.So my personal non doctor opinion of my own results:Easy to swallow and has the ingredients doc suggested for dry eye

This is a well formulated eye supplement -- I appreciate that many of the most critical vitamins and minerals for vision are included but not in the tremendously high doses found in some brands. I take other supplements, so this makes it easier for me to keep track of total amounts. I also like the amounts of lutein and zeaxanthin. I've never tried a supplement with saffron stigma extract, so that is in interesting addition. The capsules are fairly large but easy for me to take. They do have a rather unpleasant smell, but there is no taste or after-taste. The recommended dose is one capsule per day, which is certainly do-able. The current price of $29.95 for 30 capsules, a 30-day supply does seem a bit high. The ingredients are globally sourced, and the supplements are made for Primal Labs, based in Texax, but I am not sure exactly where they are actually manufactured. The brand's website states that they are manufactures in an FDA registered facility w/GMP certification. The product arrived properly sealed.

So, macular degeneration runs in my family. I've been wearing contacts since I was in 6th grade and I'm 52. I like the ingredients in this supplement. It us easy to swallow with only 1 capsule a day. I've had no upset stomach or any other side affects from this. I can't really say what the long term affects are as of yet but I am satisfied so far.

Not only is there a lutein in this formulation, but also alpha lipoic acid. Alpha lipoic acid promotes is a strong antioxidant and reduces nerve damage. It’s a worthwhile supplement. Lutein is a powerful antioxidant in its own right. The combination is well thought out.

This supplement has what you need for healthy eyes. It has lutein and zeaxanthin, black currant, saffron stigma, ala, copper, zinc, vitamins A, C, E, as well as selenium. Serving size is one capsule. The capsules are mid-sized and easy to swallow. If there's a downside, it's that it doesn't have as much lutein as you can get with other supplements. All in all, a good eye health supplement.
