Not sure if it really works!
I purchased these based on reviews. I plugged them assuming they worked. Until a friend came over to visit and he had roaches issue at home, so he asked if he can take one home to try. A few days later, he returned the item to me saying that it did not work at all - roaches were just as active as they were. I returned them.

Does NOT work
Does NOT work! The critters are having a party constantly in our home and this does not help keep them away. Seems like it attracts them instead Spiders etc... come in and walk areound like they own the place.

Had this plugged in on my workbench in the garage ...
Had this plugged in on my workbench in the garage. While plugged in, the trap below the work bench caught two voles and a mouse. Don't think it is very effective. I really bought them to keep chipmunks from sneaking into my garage when the door is opened. Maybe it will work for that.

Definitely worth the price! I tried to order more, why are they unavailable with possible chance of not getting more in stock?!
I plugged them in the day they arrived! Have seen only 4 roaches since that time - compared to at least one in the evening! I DEFINITELY will be buying more!
