Night Bobby

I’ve used these bobbers for years now I love them

This Night Bobby seems okay, just not very bright.I used the Night Bobby on my next nighttime fishing adventure. The batteries only last two & half (2.5) hous.

I see a lot of people have a hard time keeping this bobber on their line. I hold the outside ring down, make three wraps with the line coming from the hook and then release the outside ring. There is a groove across the top and you want to get that lined up and have your line coming out each side. As far as battery storage, when I am done fishing for the night I pull the top battery out and turn it over. Benn using these for 3 years or better and don't have any problems anymore. It is really cool to hook a nice fish and see it take the bobber away under water. The batteries do make this bobber heavy which is a plus in my opinion, makes for better casting. The batteries seem to last quite awhile too. The one thing I would ask the manufacture to consider is making them to work better as a slip bobber. They are set up that way if you don't wrap your line, but it doesn't work very good and then I also think they would be more likely to come off your line. One other thing, when wrapping the line around the top get in the habit of either wrapping the line coming from the hook or else from the rod tip. Makes it easier to unwrap them to take them off.

Bobbers are a good size, easy to attach, and need to add weight for them to sit properly in the water. All high marks for me with my arthritic hands.Ordered two hoping to get one of each and I got 2 red ones. Would like the option to order each color (I might have missed that somewhere)Only got 2 hours of good light out of the bobber on a fresh set of batteries. This is the only reason I gave it 3 stars. I'd love to see this style of bobber with LED's for longer-lasting. I fished for 4 hours during the night and had to change batteries halfway through. 4 Batteries for 1 night of fishing is a bit much in my opinion.One bobber broke on the first fishing trip as I was reeling in a catfish. The fish smacked it against the side of my kayak and cracked the bottom of the bobber. Might have been bad luck on my part or perhaps less sturdy materials. I can't say which for sure.

The bobber was easy to use, easy to see. Had some great night fishing with it.the battery comes with it.

This bobber works great for night fishing. It’s not like normal bobbers. It only attaches at the top to allow your bait to sink to the depth you choose for each cast. If you want it to stay at a specific depth from your bait, I have found that using the smallest sinker directly under it, does the trick. The light Is bright, which peeks the curiosity of the fish. You can tell when a fish is curious about your bait, because the bobber moves around. Then when you actually have a fish on, the bobber goes under. It’s easy to tell you have a bite due to the immediate darkness. I have purchased one of these for each of my rods. The only thing that I wish was different is the color of the bobber. Where I live, the fish respond better to green instead of yellow or red.

Float light works , however sharp edges on it easily cut my 14 lb fluorocarbon line, I can’t figure out another way to attach it to line to eliminate this problem
