Purely erotic
This book was a great read. Paul was dominant in the bed. He was oblivious at times but he made up for it. Race was highlighted almost too much. Or maybe it was the insecurities that was getting on my nerves

This is a good book
I love this book, I wish for more because I want to see if Paul follow through with his promise to see her life an the daily problems a black woman deal with in life just to get ahead in life an the stress of how others treat her for wanting more out or life.

Not for me
I did not enjoy this book and was unable to finish it but I most definitely read enough. The heroine's hang up with the relationship was too drawn out and the heroe's non-chalance about her hang up got to be annoying. I disliked how the hero was always able to persuade the heroine to do things but not vice versa. Spoiler alert: they break up at one point in the book- go a period without speaking with each other- see one another on campus -- he comes to her residence and basically asks her to move to NY with him and she agrees. This is after he broke up with her. I just couldn't deal with it.

What was I thinking
Not sure why I purchased this book. His family is super rich and Caucasian, she is African-American. One part of the book really ticked me off when Paul take Alana to the country club to meet one of his friends and his friend used the N-word. The sex was a little over the top. Not one of my best choices.

Old Money Hubby Rules!
I received a free ARC copy of Old Money Hubby. This was a very touching story. I loved the way Ms. Jasper addressed the interracial relationship of a strong black woman that is independent while trying to gain acceptance for being who she is. I admire her boyfriend who did not give up on their relationship and went the extra mile to gain understanding for what it takes not only to be in a interracial relationship but one from a wealthy family. This story touched on a lot of issues that can break up even the best of couples but in the end shows how love can get you through even the toughest times.

Old Money Clueless
This was a good read. When I first started reading the first few chapters I didn't know where the book was going. It started out as your typical love story but Paul was a little clueless. I didn't know how anyone could not see the signs when he and his girlfriend Alana interacted with his friends. He didn't think a lot of they types of things his friends said or did. It was like he lived in a bubble and because he was so rich, he probably did. I'm glad that true love prevailed and he caught a clue. He finally realized how Alana felt a lot of the times when they were together and he vowed to be more understanding. He became what she needed him to be and knew he could be. A very passionate love story with a very happy HEA.

Alana and Paul
I actually liked enjoyed reading this book. This was my first read by this author. The characters were real and relatable. Paul had old money and never had to work for anything. Alana has to work for everything and didn't want to let her family down. Paul was able to sort of see things from Alana's perspective eventually. Even though this was labeled as a pregnancy romance I was quite pleased that it really wasn't. I really don't like the stereotypical billionaire pregnancy romance. They are not believable. Paul and Alana had awesome chemistry and the sex scenes were HOT!!!! I definitely recommend reading this one.
