409 Stainless Steel Two Chamber Exhaust Muffler Kit, 3''Inlet/2.25'' Outlet,Direct Fit Exhaust 2009-2018 Ram 1500 (16"-body)

The quality of this muffler is top notch, install wasn’t bad the hardest part was removing the factory muffler from the 3” pipe. I had to remove them both and used Kroil and bamm, they came apart. Overall sound is perfect for a daily driver it’s not obnoxious but it’s noticeable definitely cold start and under throttle. I think this muffler was a great alternative to the Flowmaster Fx being the price difference of $375 vs $110. Five stars.

This muffler is a great priced, high quality muffler. Welds are beautiful. Install was straight forward. Remove existing muffler, the hardest part. Replace with this muffler. Easy peazy. Everything lines up great with factory hangers and existing pipes. Mine did arrive in rough shape, I'm guessing due to delivery, not the item itself. Box was damaged, completely split open along the edge and one of the outlets was bent in. Luckily all hardware was still in box, and muffler was wrapped in foam wrap. So I just bent the outlet back to round with a pipe expander. Muffler has great sound, but not annoyingly loud. I pull camper, boat, and dune buggies, with the family, so I wanted to make sure it didn't make long trips unbearable. Highly recommend this to be the replacement muffler you put on your "classic" ram 1500 with factory dual exhaust.

TLDR; It fit just like it’s supposed to, and sounds good. I was hesitant it was going to be too loud, but I don’t think it its. Drone is very minimal. Install time was roughly two hours, the old muffler taking 1.5 of that time.It was packaged well, and included some nice clamps that feel quality. As others mentioned, the hardest part is removing the old muffler. Once that is off, it took about 30min to put the new one on, adjust tail pipes, and tighten everything down.Tips for removing the old muffler. Loosen all three clamps. Crack them with a 3/8 ratchet, them use a an electric ratchet/impact to remove it all the way. I have a 12v dewalt 3/8 impact and it wasn’t budging them. The top clamp on the dual was a Royal PITA. After that, remove the rubber exhaust hangers from truck side. I used a pry bar and sledge to knock them as far as I could, then wiggled them off by hand. Again, the top one, was a PITA. I used a set of channel locks to squeeze it off. After all that was removed and tail pipes were off the truck, it took a 3lb sledge to knock the old muffler off. That sucker was on their good (176k on truck).Now slide the rubber bushing onto the new muffler. I think the best way to do it is to now slide the tail pipes back on, and on the hangers. Then slide the muffler on and wiggle everything to fit together. You have some adjustment to line up the tail pipes so they match. Tighten clamps and you are done.First cold start, it has some bark. I was expecting it to be louder, but it wasn’t, which was good. My brother has a 4th Gen and muffler delete, and it’s pretty loud. I’d say this is 60% of that. After it warms up, the idle is actually pretty quiet. Revving it gives it a nice tone, and driving is definitely not obnoxious. It has a slight drone and certain RPM’s, but 80mph it’s almost silent. I saw other reviews where others choose the bigger muffler and said it was barely louder than stock, so I picked the smaller muffler to get more sound.I called around to some local muffler shops and quotes were all over. One guy said they have been using knock off Super 10’s (which is basically this) with good results. He quoted $200 installed, so for 1/2 the price, a couple hours of your time, you can have the same setup. Overall, I’m happy with it, and I’d recommend it. If want to know what sounds like, just look up a 4th Gen. Ram with a super 10, the sound is identical.

As many of the reviews said, it’s a bit short. Pulls the tail pipes in about 1/2” from the bumper. I have to say that it sounds great despite the fitment issue.

Easy install. Fit perfectly. Honestly sounds way better than I was expecting for the price. I love the way it turned out. Super happy with it. Definitely recommend for someone looking for a good quality muffler that won't break the bank.

If you want a loud exhaust, this isn't your gig. If you want something better than stock with a nice tone, a good rumble and growl when you rev it then this muffler is great. Not a bad install. Took about an hour.

Sound is comparable to a magna flow kit, no annoying drone @ low rpm crusing sounds great when u get on it.Good value for the price

This muffler is an excellent deal It fit my Ram classic crew cab perfectly.It sounds great a nice low rumble at idle and sounds great under load as well.This is a great price for an excellent product and I would definitely purchase it again.

Y pipe fit perfect didn’t have any issues clamps are alright. Took 20mins to install after a year and a canadian winter the pipe still looks new

Very similar to Flowmaster FX direct fit, even sounds and looks the same. Confirmed item fits 2009-2023 Ram Classic Crew Cab. Very well made, mild interior drone, slightly aggressive sound, throaty at WOT. Quick and easy to install, took me around 30min including removal of stock muffler.

This exhaust leaks in all 3 spots. Adjusted the clamps and leaked no matter what. Sought helped from seller and was basically told to send it to a shop to have it welded, did not even bother to send updated clamps like they had for others in the past. I bought a direct fit version so I would not have to do have somebody weld it. Had I known this beforehand, I would much rather have bought the legit version instead of this copy.
