DickiesWomen's Relaxed Fit Bib Overall

Well built and comfortable too...
I am so impressed with these overalls! I am tall; standing at 5'10 and 138lbs. These overalls are more than long enough for me to crouch in, made with sturdy snaps, are roomy enough to move around in and thick enough to stand up to the work I'm doing. These are made to last for sure. Great purchase and I will certainly buy again.

Good!
These overalls might be a hit or miss depending on your build. The bib is cut small, the torso runs short to average, and the legs are very long; therefore, I highly recommend sizing up if you have a larger bust or a long torso. If you have an average or small inseam, then you will have to roll or hem the leg length.I'm 5'8" and normally a US women's small or medium, but sized up to a large, which was the right call: they accomodate my bust without gapping, doesn't hug my torso, and gives me just enough room in the crotch to maneuver comfortably. But if you can make the sizing work, then I think you'll be very pleased. They're my favorite pair of overalls so far because they strike a good balance between practical and cute. The pockets roomy without bulging, and there are loops for a belt. The color olive is darker than pictured, which I like, and is a good alternative to black. In conclusion, I'm very happy, and am definitely purchasing the rose color next.

Poor fit around the waist
I thought I was going to keep these overalls despite the less than ideal fit, until I purchased a pair of women’s Carhartt overalls for comparison. I’m 5 ft, 103 lbs so definitely on the Petite side. I purchased the Dickies in moss green, XS and liked the color, look, and fit through the legs, as well as the heavier duck fabric. What I didn’t like is how they fit in the waist (there is a large gaping area above my butt near both top buttons); the extremely long legs which will need to be hemmed since there’s too much fabric to cuff; and the overall tightness in the crotch when bending at the knees. In comparison, the Carhartt overalls in XS have a much better fit around the waist and no wedgie feel when bending. The fabric is definitely lighter than the Dickies though I think the added stretch will be a plus when it comes to bending and moving around. I also like the durability provided by the extra layer of fabric on the front of the legs. The main shortcomings I found with the Carhartts are the length (I ordered the short length and these were still too long), and a slight puckering in the crotch area that hopefully will disappear with some adjustment of the shoulder straps. With both brands I found them roomy enough to wear leggings beneath, but not so roomy that either pair looked baggy. Ultimately it comes down to overall comfort and fit and so the Carhartt overalls are the keepers.

Heavy duty, well made
Five stars for value and quality. The fit was loose on me. But okay. I’m 5’7”, 128#, slim build. I got the XS and they’re plenty roomy on me. I’ll have ample room to wear these over long underwear and a hoodie in cool weather. And they’re heavier than Carhartt women’s overalls.I prefer my (slightly lighter weight) Carhartt overalls (XS tall) for warmer weather and they fit my body shape better. But the Dickies will be a solid choice for fall weather.

Great overalls for yardwork
I had to reorder with a smaller size than recommended, but now they are perfect. I've worn out my last pair after 10+ yrs. So handy, especially for gardening in cool months.

For short torsos!
I wish that they had an XL for me because I got the large and they fit well and the legs are actually long enough (I’m 5’11” so that’s rare) but the torso is really short so they are riding up a lot. But if I loosen the straps the top is all loose, and it doesn’t make the torso any longer really. I’m gonna keep them because they are cute and fit pretty well but they are a little uncomfortable. Worth the $30 I paid though! Good quality and everything just weird crotch situation

Wife loves them
My wife is always working in the garden every chance she gets, but was always complaining about her clothing wouldn’t hold up so I bought these overalls and she loves them. She was saying they’re durable and comfortable.

Awesome dungarees that fit perfectly
I've had so many compliments wearing these dungarees. They're super comfortable and a lovely material. The colour is absolutely goregous and works with loads of different colour t-shirts underneath. Amazon recommended a L for me however the M fitted much better. I'm a size 12.

Tough fabric work wear.
I went up a size as advised by Amazon but the large were huge.I take a 12-14, mostly 12 these days. The return process was easy and a medium size arrived the day I postedthe other back. The medium are big enough but I won't be wearing a thick jacket underneath. I can manage a thin jacket or fleece and jeans if need be.Fingers crossed my return gets there safely or I will be buying one for the price of two.

Pretty good, some fit issues
I do really like these overalls, but the fit isn’t perfect. I’m 5’10”, 180 lbs and purchased the large. I really like the dark green color and the fabric/construction. They definitely feel like workwear quality to me. The bib pocket is perfect for an iPhone and pencil. I wish the hand pockets on the pants were bigger - they’re not tiny but for such a relaxed fit overall, I’d hope for them to be on par with men’s pockets. I’m super happy with the long legs because it’s rare to find the right length for me. You’d definitely be cuffing or hemming these if you were shorter - which means you would lose the few inches of doubled material above the heel. I do agree with the other reviewers saying that the rise of the pant/torso length is too short. I found that I had to loosen the straps quite a bit to avoid them being pulled too high into the crotch/butt area if I bent over or crouched - kind of the activities you buy overalls for. This loosened strap also means more exposure on the side above your hip. I definitely wear longer shirts/sweaters to feel more comfortable with this side gaping in public. I think I’d have a better fitting waist in the medium but I imagine the short torso would make them very uncomfortable to move in. For the price though, I’m fairly happy with these.
