I love anise flavors, all of them. I know that anise can be used for many different things: like up set tummy, apatite suppressant and just for the love of the flavor. I thought I would try these drops to see if I they would act as a way to settle my tummy when it is upset and I do think it works. I also think they work for the apatite suppressant between meals. I like that they are in dropped for so I can take more or less depending on my needs and the bottle is small to easy to travel with. The liquid is on the thinner side (almost water like) and a nice brown color. I will say that it has a licorice flavor, definitely recognizable but not completely anise flavored; and I think this is because it is SO SWEET! I love sweet things but this is very sweet to me so I will have to add it to coffee, smoothies or the like to get pas that issue. (I used two drops and was overwhelmed with sweetness). I do think it is a nice product and I will be using the rest, I just have to adjust the way I do use them.

I love black licorice! I use to get black licorice ropes when I was a kid (they were 10 cents!!). I've eaten licorice most of my life so when I saw these liquid licorice drops I wanted to try them. Well, I was disappointed because to me they don't taste like licorice at all. I've been putting the drops directly into my mouth and the taste isn't bad, just not like licorice.I know licorice has some health benefits and this may be a good way to get them. The drops in this 1 fl. oz. bottle with a dropper are USDA organic without any unnecessary added ingredients.
