Perfect subtle flavor - follow the instruction!
Over the course of the past few years, I have started to incorporate electrolytes/hydration powders into my supplemental regiment. Having tried a number of these products from competing brands, Skratch Labs stands out as a great solution for those who aren’t a fan of artificial sweeteners. The flavoring reminds me a lot of La Croix - just enough to know its there but not too much to be compromisingIn regards to some of the other reviews that are claiming this product doesn’t mix well… I would have to somewhat disagree. I have noticed this clumping issue seems to be a common problem among most hydration mixes, however after reading the instructions on how to properly mix the product I noticed minimal clumping in my first serving. I would recommend either mixing this product in a blender bottle with some ice or using a decent frothing tool to ensure that the mixture is completely mixed if that is something that bothers you.As a hybrid athlete focusing on endurance training and weightlifting, I would recommend this product 10/10. Will definitely be a returning customer.

Mix as directed
I'm a fan of Skratch and have used almost all their products. I tried this since I sometimes get tired of drinking sweet flavors to stay hydrated in the heat. Clear tastes like water...I can barely notice any lemon. It's really easy to drink. The lack of flavor is refreshing. I could see using it in a bladder with ice on longer rides this summer. Other reviews said it didn't mix well but it does if you shake it really good, like you do with their Superfuel. I filled the 32oz bottle half-way, added Clear, and shook until dissolved, about a minute, then I added more water. I might try a shaker bottle next time, like I use when I mix Superfuel.

Great concept, needs improvement
Great idea, I love the idea of a less-sweet electrolyte option that you can concentrate without concentrating the flavor. I’ve emailed to ask how all of these ‘pro athletes’ use this and the SuperFuel in real-world conditions - because I can’t see how I will be able to refill bottles during a race, given the process needed to mix this: add some water; add the product; shake vigorously; fill up with water; shake again. How do you do that during a bike ride or on a run during a triathlon?!Yes, the mix can still be clumpy or cloudy, as others have mentioned. If you let it sit for a bit, the product does completely dissolve (both this and SuperFuel - but that one requires 7 scoops for one serving). It settles great overnight in the fridge - no product visible at all.The flavor is mild and doesn’t get sweet. It doesn’t have the tartness of actual lemons or PureLemon (I wouldn’t want tartness while working out or training). This is more so for the SuperFuel, but Clear has the same primary ingredient so I’ll share this here: It is VERY sticky. A bike mechanic told me to stop using it because of the amount of dried-on product on my bike frame and how hard it was to remove (he was concerned about my bike finish getting damaged by it). You get it on anything and it will dry - but it doesn’t come off easily. Right after mixing, it’s kind of syrupy and viscous - it doesn’t look appetizing. The bag for Clear is small! It lasted only a few days for me, especially as I do drink it during the day as well as during training. I don’t understand why the bag for this product is *so* much smaller than the bags for regular Skratch and SuperFuel. It does come in packets/individual serving sizes - again, great concept, but you’ve still got to mix with partial water, shake, etc.I have an Ironman in a few weeks and have been working on figuring out how I will fuel on the bike and run. I have a lot of GI issues and can’t rely on what will be on course. But I’m really struggling with how I can use this product in a real-world race situation. I hope they figure out a way to concentrate their Cluster Dextrin ingredient, perhaps offer it in a solid/chew, and modify it so it’s much easier to mix, both for Clear and SuperFuel.

Good not great
I am a triathlete searching for low natural sugar, high electrolytes. This product is decent, but does not seem to pack the type of punch I need. It also requires two full scoops for 16oz, making it a bit pricey for the amount you get.

Does not mix
You can follow the directions all you want but this stuff will not mix. Shake and shake and shake and shake and still big clumps in the bottle floating around. If it doesn't even dissolve in water, how can I trust that it is absorbing in my body rather than just running right through? I have Hydration mix with caffeine in a different flavor from Skratch Labs and it mixes fine. A spoon is all that is needed.

All the electrolytes without the sweeteners. Spot-On.
Skratch Clear is an awesome electrolyte powder, with very low sugar, and a decent amount of sodium, potassium, and magnesium. The flavor is of the faintest hint of salt and lemon, barely detectable, so cool water remains refreshing. The Skratch Sport Hydration mix is great as well, if you don't mind bold flavor and sugar. However, I am very sensitive to sugar, as it causes instant fatigue for me. Therefore, I either drink all Clear on 1-2 hour all-mountain bike ride, or blend 50/50 Clear blended with Sport for longer Enduro rides. If Clear came in a caffeinated option, that would be electrolyte powder perfection!

Great, Subtle Flavor and Mix
Very satisfied with this purchase! Super easy to mix, appreciate the inclusion of the scoop for measuring purposes, and they nail the hint of lemon flavor! The mix was nice and smooth without any clumping after shaking/following the directions. Will definitely order again!

Great for those who don't want to be bombarded by sweetness
The worst thing about many cycling drinks is how disgustingly sweet they are. The Hint of Lemon is perfect.
