Purchased this for my daughter's 8th birthday. So far so good, it is working great. It is just the right size for a young girl's room. It is hip enough for an 8-year old or cute enough for younger girls. She loves listening to her cd's at night before falling asleep. This does the trick!

We bought it for our son. We have not used it so much, maybe 20 times in 8 months, and we operated it, so there is no kids operated mistakes. After 8 months, the CD player does not work. It has 3 months garantee. The price is not low, but the quality is not high. I contacted the service of their company, wait and see if there is any solution come out.

When I bought this less than a week ago I paid 55 dollars. I see it's now selling for 49. First and foremost, my son loves it. I think because there is a monkey on the top and, being 4 years old, he doesn't really know anything about build quality and such. This radio feels VERY cheap. Cheap in the way that you would expect a 20 dollar radio from Wal-mart to feel. It is not in any way worth the price. The CD cover feels cheap and flimsy. The buttons and the way the press are terrible. When you open the handle it exposes a giant hole in the back where you can reach in and touch the spinning CD. For 25 dollars I would be OK with all of this. To get this radio to my front door was about 60 dollars all in all. Not happy with value here at all. This radio needs to be 25 dollars. Find something else and put a monkey sticker on it. I am sure your child will like it just as much.

My 4.5 year old son loves this CD player. He is learning to be careful putting his CDs in and out, he gets to decide what music he wants to play, and I don't have to keep changing the songs for him. The volume button is nice because it takes a lot of turning to turn the volume up or down.

Ordered one for a Christmas present. The cd door would not stay closed. Exchanged it for another one, however it arrived with the top (monkey face) was scratched and scuffed and the cd would not play well. It was Ana complete waste and very frustrating experience for me and my son.
