Very pleased with this purchase. My last antenna was pretty weak in gathering a signal. I actually found three new channels wit this one and it only fails in really bad storms. Much better than my last!

My gripe is that the description says that this antenna covers 87.5-230 MHz which falls half way into the low band VHF range. It also says in a later section (which I see now that I am trying to figure out why it cannot see my local station) that it covers 174-230 MHZ, which is the high band of VHF.It does a great job on the frequencies it does cover. Just be sure you know what frequencies it truly is expected to receive and what frquencies you want to receive before you buy it.I did not set up doorbell feature so cannot comment on that.

Just got this and it does pickup more stations then my old antenna. Plus the longer cable lets me put it in an optimal location. Setup was fast and easy. Won't use the doorbell.

Although this antenna brings good reception with clear picture quality I gave only 3 stars because it brings no more channels than my $8 rabbit ears. Disappointing.

This is a great small antenna, lightweight and attractive.

only 3 channels from the first scan, 10 channels from the 2nd scan, tried few more scans, got no more than 3. My avermedia antenna did 20 channels. I am thinking of PVRs next
