Kleenbore Gun Care ClayMate Cleaning Tool (12/16 Gauge)

Absolute piece of crap!!!! Bought one in 20 Gauge and 12 gauge and the 20 gauge one broke on the first use. The rod is a cheap wooden dowel with a brass fitting hot glued to it that pulled apart when running the rod through the bore. I had one of these years ago and it was very good. The manufacturer has definitely chosen to sacrifice quality over cost with these current ones. Don't waste your time or money.

I have had one of these now for over 2 years and never had a problem with it. I shoot on 2 trap leagues and shoot ATA on the weekends and every time I get done with a round I run the Claymate through the bore three or four times with the copper brush on it and my bore looks just like new. Once or twice a year I'll wash it in warm water and dish soap and it comes out looking good.

I love it. No question on my 12 gauge’s cleanliness when I’m done with this bad boy.

Good combination of brass brush and wool cleaner.... I'd like a stronger handle.

This product fell apart in three weeks. It was treated well, but is basically cardboard. It did not hold up to light use which is surprising considering that if I made this product I would assume that it would be used heavily.

Great product should be included in every shotgun sold.
