These don’t slip
Sugoi shorts are my favorite because they have a great chamois and do not slide down during a ride.My pearl izumi shorts unfortunately have to be tugged regularly.

Sugoi Evolution, best fitting shorts yet!!
These Evolution shorts are my second pair in this model, by far the best. Updates to the non-slip grippers and new low front design, multi-panels are great. They do fit a bit tight. I normally wear Large but exchanged for XL, much happier, you decide (5’11, 188lbs but bikers butt/legs forced the upgrade). RX Pro chamois still a great design. Overall very happy.

Sugoi does it again!
Decided to try these given my Sugoi running shorts is my go to brand after trying everything on the market - Nike, Asics, Adidas, .... Have been a Pearl Izumi loyalist for biking but these Sugoi Evolution shorts are incredible. Most comfortable and dry bike shorts I have ever experienced. Well done Sugoi.

Perfect fit. Maximum Comfort
The padding protects in areas where other brands and models by this brand fall short. By far the most comfortable padded shorts I own.

These don't have an RC Pro Chamois
I bought these shorts for the Sugoi RC Pro chamois, but the shorts i got are some look alike counterfeit. I have two bibs with the RC Pro which have a contoured chamois; these is a single raised pad without the channel in the middle. I gave 2 stars because the shorts themselves are solid and typical of Sugoi quality. Maybe they are just as good, but I paid the premium to get a chamois that fits my crotch and saddle without chaffing.

The new chamois does not work for me
I have ridden Sugoi Evolution shorts for many years, replacing them with the latest model when a previous pair wore out. I have had as many as 4 pairs at the same time. They have evolved over the years (sorry for the pun), but they have always been very high quality and very comfortable. I recently bought a pair with the new "3D chamois design with Cradle construction". The quality is high as always, but the new chamois does not work well for me. I have only ridden them twice, each time for about 30 miles, and both times they left me with a skin abrasion on the scrotum that took several days to heal. I didn't use any chamois cream on those rides, but I usually don't on shorter rides like those. We are all shaped differently, and if the new chamois works for you, you will no doubt enjoy a high-quality, comfortable short that will last a long time, but it seems that the new chamois doesn't work for everyone. If you are shaped like me you may be surprised and dismayed. For comparison, I am 5'10", 155 lbs, 31" waist and I bought a medium, as I always have in Evolution shorts. The inseam of the new short is a little longer compared to the previous generation, and the leg opening band is a bit more compressive, although broad and comfortable; neither of those things bothered me. A good feature of the new chamois is that it offers more frontal coverage, which helps with modesty. The front of the waistband rides lower than in other shorts, including previous Evolutions, which is an interesting design feature that works well, keeping pressure away from your stomach when you are in a cycling position. In summary, the shorts would be excellent if only the chamois and my soft parts were more compatible. The thing that upsets me the most is that, after many years of being very happy with Sugoi Evolution shorts, I now have to search for a new model that will fit me better.
