When we read Lesson 101 in the Workbook, IF it sounds rather heavy-handed, IF we don't have the urge to laugh, then it might be because we have agreed with the ego that we are broken, bad, or beyond loveable, and do not deserve happiness. NOTHING could be farther from the truth.Jon is clearly telling us Change your mind, and Change your life. Of COURSE you deserve to be happy!!!As he points out in the Introduction, any "101" class that we might take is a basic class that is designed to lay out the fundamentals. This wonderful book is filled with lots of Fun, without being overly Mental.There is no lack of tongue-in-cheek humor nor "irony deficiency" in "Happiness 101." It is filled with simple, useful tips to create more happiness in your life. Why do we think we need to take life so seriously? It's not like we are going to get out alive. Do whatever it is you are inspired to do, but be of good cheer! Do it with a knowing wink and a smile. And laugh - then Rinse and Repeat.I keep a copy on my nightstand and grab it when I need a little perspective. I'll get the Kindle version as well when it's available.It makes me smile and laugh - a lot.Buy it and read it. You won't regret it.

I have read the book, given it as gifts, and am now listening to the CD of Happiness 101. Happiness 101 has given me more clarity about the Course in Miracles than anything else I have read about the Course. I have been a student of ACIM for over 30 years so that is saying a lot! For example, now that I am listening to Happiness 101, it is a metaphor for listening to the Voice for me. I am so grateful to Jon Mundy for authoring and narrating this excellent tool for the healing of us all.

It walks you into the book more gradually. THE BOOK, "A course In Miracles" jumps right into making change in your life. For most of us, It takes time to make these adjustments. Some times, we need a little more explanation about why this change is important. Perfect Happiness helps apply the changes and helps you see how your life will get better once you make these change part of you. Completely forgive, Let go of your Ego. LOVE. We know we need to do this but then we walk out the door into the real world and our plan falls apart.

Whether you are new to ACIM or have been a student for years, this book is absolutely wonderful. Jon has a way of putting the message and the principles in a way that is soothing and gentle, just as we are to be with ourselves and others. I am already looking forward to reading more of Jon's books and to re-reading this one!

Lesson 101: Perfect Happiness is centered on teaching us how to accept the Reality of Love that we've hidden behind our self-made illusions, which are born of fear. Jon Mundy addresses this subject very effectively, and it has obviously been the focus of his entire career. This is the lesson that Jesus Christ came into this world to teach us; this world's entire purpose, and our entire purpose in this world. And when you've found good reason to believe that all of this is true, you've found the Holy Grail!

I found Perfect Happiness to be inspiring as well as helpful in deepening my understanding of A Course in Miracles principles. The Course can be challenging to read and understand, but Jon's work with Perfect Happiness sheds light in an easily undertandable style. It's also just plain fun to read. I love his use of real life stories. I highly recommend Perfect Happiness to both Course students and those who are not.Jack S.

I'm a 22-year student of The Course in Miracles, but still need the Truth reinforced. The Course is my touchstone whenever my ego dominates and reading Jon's books helps get me back on "Course." This, his latest, is in my opinion, his best. Clearly written in a helpful, hopeful voice, I would most ardently recommend it to both Course and non-Course students. Very good, thought-provoking. Helps get to the essence of the Course in Miracles, which can be difficult to understand. By the way, not sure I believe that Jesus "channeled" the course through Helen Scumann??? Wouldn't have Jesus made it easy for anyone (i.e. "the least of these") to understand??
