Spyderco BaliYo Pens

First ill say i went from three stars now to 5 as my pen with defect was replaced and im very happy with the new one.Its writes like I expected from a fisher pen and I use them the most so its no problem for me. It flips very smoothly when you get use to it but is very lightweight all in all its a purposeful fidget toy. My only complaint is I ordered the GITD USA version and down two opposing sides of the pen shaft there are two cracks. It doesnt feel as if they come completely through the shaft to the surface as I cannot feel them with a fingernail but they are very noticeable. The two cracks affect nothing but aesthetics but for what I paid for it I feel like it shouldnt have cracks. Amazon us having me return the pen i have and sending me a new one which is fine with me. I like the pen maybe mine was just defected and if so when i get the new one I will up my rating

I'm fairly into balisong and I bought this to flip around at my desk while I'm bored. The wieght distribution is a bit funky and takes getting used to. Rollover tricks are much harder because of this. It's also interesting to note that the unique handle shape and lack of a bite/safe side makes new tricks possible. The plastic is of mediocre quality and began to crack after a while, but it still remains functional. Would be much more satisfied if it were better quality or a cheaper price.

Bought this for my sons 13th birthday spend more thinking it was a quality piece.....broke in a few days and he is now one upset little boy .....what is everything garbage in this world?? Bought cheap ones first that also broke right away .....spent 3 times the amount for same LOW quality!

Great fun pen.

The handles started cracking around the weights after about a week. I didn't have that problem with my other BaliYo.

Bought this as something to fool around with in those moments where I could escape from the reality of work. The pen is very very cheap. The pen part itself wouldn't extend. I had higher expectations for it being a Spyderco product as I own several of their knives and find them to be of very high quality. I guess the pens don't receive the same quality control.

If your a true flipper you will know that this thing weighs way like nothing. It weighs exactly 1 ounce. It also breaks easily. Overall it is cool to have at school and you not getting in trouble for it.

bought for a grandson. had to tighten screws within 24 hrs of receiving it. it's cheap, like something out of a cracker jack box. enough said.
